It seems power destribution in Nigeria will always take a downward turn. PHCN was far worse than NEPA while the present privatisation is no where close to being on same level as PHCN. In November, we had power supplied us only about 24-60 hours of all the 720 hours in a month. Our experience this December is far worse. We've not had electricity for up to 6 hours in 15 days. The most annoying thing here is that we were billed 30something thousand naira as our November electricity bill. I don't blame these useless and good for nothing power destribution companies for all these shits. I blame the people of Satellite Town for keeping quiet to this inhumane treatment. They see us as gullible set of ignorant fools and we are actually acting all that up. I'd rather have them take off my wires than have them steal from me. Bunch of fraudstars! |

Yes it does have a big problem. We here in Satellite town are like the forgotten children of third (or should I say fourth) world. Fashola has done everything possible to ensure his Ikeja, VI, Ikoyi, etc. are up to his standard but whoever is residing places like Okoko, Saty, Apapa, etc can die for all he cares. The people in charge of power destribution in my area loves to get us the bills of what we didn't use. Hoping to move out of Lagos tho. Tired of everything here... manot: |

Imagine... Then of what use are those useless oil companies there if they only pour waste oil on lands and in water? In more reasonable locations, big companies provide power for the areas they generate income from. For example, Ajaokuta steel is not functioning but they still provide almost constant power for some areas in Kogi state. It is well. chukel: |
