Old habits hardly die.

The former Nigerian Military President, Gen Ibrahim
Babangida (IBB) has described the former dictator and
APC Presidential candidate for the 2015 election, Pa
Muhammadu Buhari, as a weak leader and does not
understand the differences in Nigeria..
Babangida said that "regrettably it turned out that Major
General Buhari was too rigid and uncompromising in his
attitudes to issues of National significance. Efforts to
make him understand that a diverse Polity like Nigeria
required recognition and appreciation of differences in
both Cultural and Individual Perceptions only served to
aggravate the Attitudes".
Pa Muhammadu Buhari (72) is the only Nigerian senior
military officer that failed all the senior examinations in
the history of Nigerian Military.
If you check the official names of officers likes of IBB,
Idiagbon, Diya, Danjuma, Akhigbe, Abdulsalami, Aikhomu.
etc you see a suffix, FSS, Psc, MNi., Pa Muhammadu
Buhari has none. He failed the Command and Staff
College exams and all other Military examinations (Psc
means Pass staff college).
Gen Babangida (rtd) Overthrew Pa Buhari when the
engine and the anti-corruption crusader of that regime,
Maj Gen Tunde Idiagbon was away on Pilgrimage of to
Mecca.

Nigerians can do better than Jonathan - Yakubu Gowon

Former Nigerian Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, in a statement issued yesterday described the current leadership of Nigeria as having no vision of the future and incapable of steering Nigeria on the path to greatness. In his words, "We are staggering as if being led by a drunken sailor. When you think we are making progress, we veer off course." He blamed the current state of Nigeria on PDP's inability to push forward leaders with character and integrity. He wondered why Goodluck Jonathan whose wife had a pending case of money laundering and a close associate of a convicted thief who he subsequently pardoned would be allowed to vie let alone occupy the highest office in the land. The statement concluded with advising Nigerians on getting it right in 2015. "We cannot afford to be complacent and vote for incompetence."

How old are you, OP?

I ask you this question because if you are old and enlightened enough to know the regimes of Buhari and IBB, you would have known that the former was motivated by strong patriotism and passionate drive to root out corruption and establish an egalitarian, pro-people society, while the latter was motivated by sheer personal greed, insatiable lust for power as a means of perpetuating corruption, and unpatriotic subservience to foreign capitalist interests.

Because Nigerians know fully well the differences between the two former military leaders, Buhari can today contest election under ANY political party and get MILLIONS of votes.

On the other hand, IBB CANNOT even dare to present himself to Nigerians today in any election, simply because he knows he would be badly humiliated, as the vast majority of Nigerians, including his fellow Northerners, see him as EVIL PERSONIFIED and, as such, would not touch him even with a long pole!

He also attended the Katsina Provincial Secondary School (now Government College, Katsina) from 1956 to 1961 and then moved to the Nigerian Military Training School, Kaduna in 1963.

In October of the same year, he was sent to the officers’ Cadet School in Aldershot in the United Kingdom and was thereafter commissioned a Second Lieutenant in 1963 and posted to the 2nd Infantry Battalion, Abeokuta as Platoon Commander in 1963. From 1963 to 1964, he was sent for further training on the Platoon Commanders’ Course at the Nigerian Military College, Kaduna.

In 1965, he went for the Mechanical Transport Officers’ Course at the Army Mechanical Transport School in Borden, England and in 1973, he went to the Defence Services’ Staff College, Wellington, India before he proceeded to the United States Army War College from June 1979 to June 1980.
I am sure he failed all these colleges and trainings.

He is the recipient of the following: Grand Commander of the Federal Republic (GCFR), Commander of the Federal Republic (CFR), Defence Service Medal (DSM), National Service Medal (NSM), General Service Medal (GSM), Loyal Service and Good Conduct Medal (LSGCM), Force Service Staff (FSS) and The Congo Medal (CD), among others.
See desperation of the saTANs and TANoids aka GEJites!

If we even concede that IBB said all the trash here, should it not be an absurdity that you want to use a comment by the most corrupt leader Nigeria has ever known to indict a man of Buhari standing?

If you want to have anything to hang unto, bring a similar statement from people of integrity and high moral stature for our consideration.

this write-up is fake and a mere cheap blackmail. If he were a dummy as alleged, he will never rise above the rank of a captain in the NA in those days where promotion is by academic/military intelligence, bravery and outstanding performances, not these days of ''who you know at the top''
read more about him on: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammadu_Buhari
