@all Today is 2 weeks I applied which is 10 working days. I am not really happy and wondering why the delay. Is there anyone with this type of experience?. I am just disorganized waiting for the outcome and a lot of my activities are on hold. |

hydrazone:Hello, are you the tetfund sponsored student? if you are, the official letter you received from your university is enough. The one addressed to you. All the best. |

olukenzo:no charges, i paid for an application (Tier 4 dependent) last week and 97,170 naira was deducted.it first showed 100,170naira but after 2-3 days i received another alert showing 97,170 and the difference was returned. if you have your secure code, you are good to go. i hope this helps. |

kemkem30: Excellent. Thank you ma. I called the Zenith bank cc number yesterday, I spoke to a certain Lawal, who took time to explain things just as you have here. He had good understanding of the visa payment process, contrary to my earlier thoughts. Thanks once again. 1 Like |

kemkem30:Salam KemKem. Eku otutu, hope you are settling down well. Yes I am the one. My University only wrote the total amount awarded in naira on the letter. That's why I am thinking of getting another letter from them, addressed to the Ukba stating the amount for tuition and maintenance. Another quick question, the length of my studies is 4years, though I'm only to register and pay full tuition for 3years. The 4th year is for writing up my thesis. However the award letter from my university states that the tetfund sponsorship is for 3years. Did you encounter such, and will it be a problem? Thanks |

hydrazone:wa alaekun salam, but for the otutu and expensive childcare we are settling fine. okay if you have such a letter but i used only the one addressed to me and it had total amount in naira. same appplies to me, you are not paying tuition fees for the fourth year. you will still get 4 years 4 month visa. |
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by hydrazone: 8:53am On Dec 18, 2014 |
kemkem30:Thanks. So I will not need to keep the money in an account for 28 days before applying? |
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by hydrazone: 8:59am On Dec 18, 2014 |
justwise:@justwise, I still need the address. The award letter from my school to me does not state the exact amount for tuition and maintenance. It Only states the total amount awarded for the three years and a statement that it'll be disbursed annually in three equal instalments. So I want them to issue another letter stating the money for tuition and maintenance and preferably addressed to the ukba. Thanks |
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by kemkem30(f): 9:00am On Dec 18, 2014 |
hydrazone:i kept the tetfund money in my account for 28days as advised here to be on the safe side. and i still submitted the award letter. Maybe someone else can give you better advice on that. |
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by justwise(m): 9:07am On Dec 18, 2014 |
hydrazone: Will the yearly instalment cover your fees and maintenance money? They don't need to address a separate letter to BHC, the scholarship letter is enough. |
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by hydrazone: 9:09am On Dec 18, 2014 |
justwise:Yes, it will. |
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by justwise(m): 9:10am On Dec 18, 2014 |
hydrazone: Then that is what matters, they don't need to break it down. |
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by hydrazone: 9:18am On Dec 18, 2014 |
justwise:Yes, it will cover for the fees and maintenance. I intend asking them to state the annual tuition fees and state that the balance is for maintenance (even though the balance is in excess of the £820 X 9months required). Will it also be OK if I apply as a Tier 4(General) (Sponsored) Student. I wouldn't be able to wait for the 28 days as I'm to resume by 1st Feb. Thanks |
