According to the breakdown of the money, 4,500 is for 3 days training and 11,000 for the two election days....... So It's 15,500 for the whole election process

11,000 being paid is per sarturday, that's the basic amount inec pays for either APO or PO. if you partook in 2011 election you will understand better.

Nah,i did in Anambra last year. Its #4500 for trainning to be paid into your bk acct, #4000 for feeding & transport to be paid in cash on election day and #7000 into your bk acct for d election. For d 2nd saturday will be #4k for feeding&transprt and #7k for the election.
So its #15,500 for one saturday and additional #4k & #7k for the 2nd saturday

Which election took place the second Saturday in Anambra state last year?
Re: INEC Recruitment 2014 (ADHOC Staff Vacancies)-apply by Davo93(m): 6:27pm On Dec 17, 2014
Some of my peeps that were involved in Osun state guber election were paid N15,500. That was a single Saturday with the training. I think INEC may be paying both the Presiding & Assistant Presiding Officers more than N30,000 each for the 2-week exercise.

I didnt say there was election d 2nd saturday but my explanation for d 2nd saturday should be, cos that was the case for the re-election that was done some weeks after d main election in which i also pertook, they even did another 1 day training whr we were paid #2500 cash on d day

Oh oo... Its okay then. I just hope these guys pay us well.

Going by recent comments here, N17,000 is not worth the risk for 2 weeks at the Polling Booth.

You are just trying to exaggerate the work. It is two days (2 Saturday) work and not two weeks' work. I also took part at the Anambra election last year as PO and APO for second saturday election as Onitsha corps member then.

I have not exaggerated any work. It is two active days in two weeks excluding the training days. What I complained about what that the alledged N17,000 aint commesurate with the huge risk involved.

Mhen .. I can't wait to partake in this years election! That's if they'll consider Post Nysc as clearly stated! Conducting elections can be very interesting and at same time turn out to be the greatest nightmare anyone can have. Really! That money is nothing compared to the Risk involved. I worked as a PO during the 2011 elections as a corper! I thank God for living to tell the experience I encountered in the Hands of desperate Kogites! At a Point, I was offered 120k cash to Rig the election for ACN which was the minority party in that local government. Oboy! I rejected the offer to save my head. Immediately! The rumour started going round that we've been bribed to Rig the election!!! Thankfuly! I didn't fall for it! So the election in my unit was eventually cancelled! Then we started all over again! Till 11pm that night! I really saw hell! Thank God for the experience tho!
