you can definitely have your twin babies without CS and the 200k your doc told u is actually cheap. a friend of mine did hers 250k at subol in ikotun area. around surulere depending on the hospital CS starts from 350k.

ah ahn... haba na!!. you can havr twins without c.s. the only reason why c.s would be compulsory for you is if one of your twin or the two decides not to turn. i e head down.

are your babies identical or non identical? if they re identical there re usually more risk than non-identical. plus are you a first time mum, read your scan report as well and see what it says... there may be a particular reason for ur dr to say c.s.

and always ask questions from your doctor. when she mentioned to you u would be /might be having c.s you could have asked why she thinks its the safest, then she would have explained if there was any issues.
i fear c.s for all these hospitals. but to sone people its not a big deal

Hi,I don't know why ur doctor would prefer CS for u,I had non identical twin in 2012 n it was thru normal delivery n the labour was not even up to 7 hrs,went into labour by pst 1am n had my boys by 7am n the second came 15 mins after the first,so as long as the scan shows they r fine,u can have a normal delivery with God seeing u thru,it is well with u n u shall carry to term.

Mothers dot kill me but tell me what is happening to me if am alrite or not,my early weeks I asked if there is some tin to do to avoid morning sickness but many mothers said no,this is my second baby d first one I was sick til 6months I was scared of d sickness on did one because I dot know how to cop with my first baby she doesn't eat.am still suprice no symptoms like first one I ve gone three scans to check if am truly pregnant ad my baby is doing well ad active. Am taking my routine drugs everyday.my problem now is going to hospital to register is not coming to my mind I hope am not doing my self ad baby bad.dis one I want to register to general hospital.d first one was private what I saw is not what I will explain here.I am planning to register by January I hope is not too late,am on my 21week sorry for d long story

Most doctors do not want to take chances with a vaginal delivery which they can not really control esp where is no labour/delivery history. They would likely offer the CS option if 1.there were challenges with conception/pregnancy esp if this is the first child (These babies are usually called " precious babies" 2. the lady has had complications in previous delivery that resulted in death of a child where she has no live child/children . This also a case of " precious baby" 3. Other normal medical reasons for CS. I think you would be option 1. the choice is yours on what to go for.

My dear, wot u said is correct, there re medical indications for cs.Bt d bitter truth still remains dat some drs extort patients.U kno sm patients dont ask questions so dese drs tk advantages of such patients. U cant imagine it bt its true. dats y i asked her dose questions for a clearer history.

i hardly eat nowadays. my stomach-food compartment has shrunk/shrinked/shrank... (na idea we need)
i eat twice a day but i make sure thick milo is involved so my babies dont turn out wrinkly.
i observe ny body week by week too. and i dont do any exercises.. i sweat beyond control and go to pee at least 12 times during the day and 5 times or so at night.
what else....
i look 9months already and i get lots of stares when i go out... (feeling like a superhero)
i hail the mamas that re 35 weeks and above.... hows the belly??

I'm 10weeks today n in d past 2weeks ve been unable to eat well,my appetite is on d downside,i cant eat anything sweet like banana,watermelon,pawpaw n i cant eat eba,rice,ripe plantain,egusi soup ogbono,bread or beans without having stomach upset.d only fruit n food dat is acceptable to my stomach is apple,carrot n orange,den yam n vegetable soup n tea. I don tire 4 myself o,abeg is dis normal? I no fit eat 2 or 3 times a day except once n na yam or apple.hope dis will not affect my baby? Anoda thing is dat my lower abdomen feel heavy when i walk. Sorry 4d long post n thanks in advance 4 ur advices.

Mama,you are 100% alright. First trimester and loss of appetite goes together with majority of pregnant women. Don't worry,it will change and you will soon be able to eat all those you mentioned and also nothing will happen to your baby. Just try and take your drugs daily. As for the lower abdomen too,all is fine. As your baby grows you feel more weight. So relax and enjoy yourself o jare.

you can check d general hospital @ igando.@proudmom38 you are vry ok. Very typical to lose appetite during first trimester. U're even lucky u're nt vomiting. I kept vomting I was scared for my baby. But w're fine now.Jst kip taking ur prenatals. Ur baby is fine.

That's far away from where I would have advised.

It's a general hospital but I can tell you I prefer the services there to the private hospital I first registered.

Does anyone here know of RANDLE GENERAL HOSPITAL SURULERE? They have their Mother and Child hospital separately on gbajabiamila street. All they do in the big hospital is treatment from antenatal to post natal. Good and very experienced doctors, clean and very conducive environment, sparkling clean labour ward and above all when the NMA went on strike,our doctors never went on strike. I can say since when I registered I made friends with a lot of people who are close to deliver and like 50people who I know that have given birth,none of them did CS.

NB: I'm not saying CS is bad o but some private hospital doctors aren't just patient enough to avoid CS even when there is no health challenge. Maybe because they want big money sha

My dear that's how mine was too. Yours is even better because u can still tolerate some food. I couldn't eat anything. Everything I ate was by force. I have a sweet tooth and I'm also a baker and throughout this pregnancy I could not stand anything sweet until just recently. I'm still a little put off my cake and icing. Although these days I find myself craving milo. I have like a week to go before my due date and have been drinking milo in huge quantities. Don't despair ur appetite will gradually come back during ur second trimester. Imagine a foodie like me and in my first and early second trimester I had to set an alarm to remind myself to eat ( yea it was that bad).
