He's not wrong dear , the bible was referring to the human spirit in that verse , ask yourself this question , when you got born again , I mean that very day did your colour of hair change , did your thoughts change No , if that verse was talking about the body soul and spirit then why did James still talk about salvation of our souls in James 1:21

Once u are born again u are no longer of the flesh but of the spirit. The flesh has no dominion over you cos u are led by the spirit of God. The holy spirit will help u see life differently. Demons are the cause of evil thought and deeds. The moment u are gifted with d Holy Spirit evil thoughts will disappear.

When u got born again u just drew a battle line from ur inner man and and ur desires does desires will never leave they will always be there, it is like two dog a white and a black dog which are constantly fighting, who wins brother the one u feed most. Feed on God and u will fulfil the desires of the flesh. To be born again means you have the holy ghost, to accept jesus into ur life is one, that is not born again, bron again means to have the holy ghost baptism u will have more strenght to over come sin.

The simplest solution, delete all "sexy" picture from your phone, get off the internet for a week, try to get busy with anything.....work, pickup an interesting book, start a project, etc just make sure you are busy most of the day...after a week you will not even remember you had this problem.

is it not the spirit that controls the body? your human spirit is recreated during the process and u would nt like to do what u use to do before. u will be hungry to do God's will.

Spiritual rebirth is the best thing you can have. I'm experiencing that at the moment. Your journey isn't going to be easy, so this is part of it. Remember you're not alone in this because God is with you.

Sexual urges are quite normal but don't forget to hold on to what's good, acceptable, and perfect will of God for your life.

Becareful as to what you give your 'eye-time' and your 'ear-time', basically flee from all signs of evil, those can trigger your urges.

Also drive out evil with good. Read more of the Word, it will serve as your armour in days of tests.

I've gone through it also, but I have experienced rebirth, and I will relentlessly hold on to it.
