My brain is okay ooo, just that any posting regarding the good things he has done at this stage is politically motivated..since we are in that trend, we shud post the good and the bad together so we can compare and contrast..GEJ has done well on the railway sector than he met it. Fact!

At least the rail road is working despite we are decades back compared to sensible countries.

Yet, kudos to the government.

Obasanjo could not bring back the trains in eight years despite that he spent a lot of money on rail sector.

It was there before Mandela, Thabo Mbeki and Zuma presidency. Get your facts right.

These are all lies. The contract for the railway construction has been awarded far back in Obj's regime to the china construction company ceccc or something like that. They are just being completed now. GEJ has nothing to do with them because the funding of the contract was to come from china. If you can prove otherwise show anywhere it was said that Jonah awarded contract to repair and construct railway lines.

As much as GEJ has flaws, your reasoning is lipsrsealed

1. Nigeria's oil wealth is split between the FG, 36 states and 730+ local governments. It's unfair to acclaim Nigeria's oil wealth to one unit - the FG - rather than ALL entities.

2. What Nigeria or the FG receives is what partially finances the budget (obviously excluding the excesses of NNPC). We can see the effect of falling oil prices right now, is it on this meager budget that you want Nigeria to build a system worth several billions of $$$?

3. Thus, it's not feasible for Nigeria to build HSR like you pointed out in the pic. Research shows that such systems are heavily expensive, in fact, most cities and municipalities are heavily indebted when such projects are undertaken. The folks in those cities are paying the high price of HSR, if implemented in Nigeria, will you pay the price? As long as a decent rail system is present and can move you from one city to the other, let's cut our coat according to our size.

4. Stop the comparison between Nigeria and SA because they are on different levels and I mean in terms of obstacles to development. I believe that the rail structure isn't the best BUT it's a notch up from the decayed old system we know about. Is there room for improvement? Yes, but let's be realistic in our demand and approach to our demand.

Bottom line: Nigeria made money from oil, but the money was split anyway making it nearly IMPOSSIBLE to build such railway infrastructures. Furthermore, the "Nigerian Railway Act pose a serious impediment to its success, and as a result, the burden of improvement largely depends on the FG. I am sure that if railway was privatized BUT price regulated, HSR will come at its time.

Is railway Nigeria main problem?. Does he promised anything about railway?. Except you are not a student of logic and history of science. This is called begging the question. What happen to power, for 16 good year Jona and his PDP government cannot pull up Electrical power. Also corruption is everywhere no one is jailed. Ethehgate, Faroukgate, subsidygate, Oduahgate. Nobody was ever punished. Common criminal like Alamasea and Abacha sons are receiving state pardon.

This is era of change. Jona and his PDP led government should make sure they repair the prison system. Non of them will escape jail. Come 29th of May 2015. Sai Buhari CHANGE is here

And do you want to compare S.A political stability with Nigeria?
The continuity atmosphere there can't bé compared to ours in Nigeria.
Have they ever experience Military Coup there that do kick against de€ocratic progress?
Do they have the Parasitic Tribe (that delibrately kill Railway operations because of Trailer Transport system that is expecially spoiling our roads and causing accident in the South) like we do here in Nigeria?
Do you think if they(the Abokis) do not boycott the Railway Transport system back in the yearsduring there Military Reign, Nigeria would not have have been using Metro Rails by now?
There is no unity in Nigeria.
Other tribes expecially in the South are working towards progression but up there in the North na Retrogression. Check the HIDDEN HISTORICAL FACTS you will know more.
