I finally stopped receiving those MTN spam messages. Here is how I did it. I sent "stop" to 33111. After a while, I received a message that said: "You will be removed from our campaign database within 24hrs. Thank you." And that it how I got free. Y'all should try it too if you want to be free.

Guy, don't think those messages has been stopped, you only paused it. MTN didn't sent me any today on all my 3 active sims. Its like they're on break today.

You're only reminding MTN that you need more of there spam messages....

The surest way to "stop receiving these messages" is by channeling them to your spam box. I've received over a hundred over the last one month without any disturbance.
