I met a lady.. all the while we were talking she never told me she wears a waist beads. Not until the day she came to my house , I saw it and ask her ; but she said it nothing and that it been on her waist since she was a baby ( it couldn't even be remove unless it is cut off ) . Mehn, the thing scare me ooo even up still nawh sef . I wan dey sure wetin I dey put myself into ooo

In traditions its like an armulet. It is usually given by elderly female relatives for "protection".

I believe some of them are worn as a kind of charm, while to some its just fashion, nowadays gals wear silver or gold waist chains, and me I like it on ma babe, I saw one silver on her waist, and I told her I wanna see 4 d next time I checked in.

It look sexy on them.
