LAGOS — All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) has said that no right thinking Nigerian would vote President Goodluck Jonathan again to power, affirming it would mean a sustenance of all that is presently wrong with the country.

The APC presidential candidate in a statement posted on his facebook page last night flayed supporters of the present administration of spreading a message of fear which he said was only because of their support of the very things that degrade the country.

The assertion came as the Buhari Campaign Organisation, BCO, yesterday pledged to present strong arguments why Buhari should become the country’s next president.

A statement by the newly appointed Director of Media, Dele Alake, said the combination of Buhari’s sterling military career and Prof. Yemi Osinbajo’s legal expertise would serve as an antidote to the insecurity and disorder now confronting the polity.

Gen. Buhari in his comment on facebook said:

“Those who are afraid of the change we seek are the people destroying our country and stunting its progress. They are the same people who spent four years in power without improving our electricity by a single megawatt, the same people who spent four years downgrading high-level corruption to common stealing, the same people who spent four years watching over terrorists desecrating our territorial sovereignty, the same people who spent four years without laying the critical infrastructure for sustainable growth and job creation; those same people are now asking you for four more years.”
“No right thinking Nigerian would wish that our next four years look like the last four. Change has to come, and it begins with you getting registered and spreading our message of change and hope, from sibling to sibling, family to family, neighbourhood to neighbourhood; in our schools, in our market places, in every community, and in every gathering.”

Only tribalism, irrational fear of the north, love of corruption and love of cluelessness would make a full blown adult stay in queues under sun and rain to vote for someone stealing from his grandchildren even before they are born. Jonathan has not found our girls, has stolen $20bn, has accumulated a debt of $39bn, made Boko Haram more powerful, disgraced our army, corrupted our generals and made idiots of young Nigerians still voting for him.

Power has not improved and you know it. Obasanjo left 4000MW installed capacity and 2500MW actual power generation. Jonathan is leaving 4500MW capacity and 2950MW actual generation after spending $6bn on top of the $16bn spent by Obj. This is daylight ROBBERY. They also privatized NEPA assets and we can't find the money, which is STEALING. The guys who bought the assets were given another grant in billions and they have just given N500million back th Jonathan, this is CORRUPTION.

Boko Haram: You and I know this was the prime failure of Jonathan. The weakest, cowardliest and most incapable president for 2013 and 2014. Our girls are still missing, we had four or more mutinies in the army, soldiers wives went on strike, soldiers ran away from 18year old Boko Haram boys, defence budget was stolen, no air force, Book Haram seized territory and hoisted flags. Last week they abducted more women. In many countries this is a no brainer the CIC would resign but in Nigeria mediocrity is driven by tribalism and fear.. in this case fear of the north. Because of fear of the north, some visionless Nigerians will take the kind of service and national disgrace they should not take from an elected government.

Infrastructure: All hogwash. The successful ones were pushed by the Chinese who want to sell their stock of steel and prefab concrete and loan us money at interest. The trains are still not running but we have beautiful pictures on our desktops. The Niger bridge was promised the east and not done but Dumbo jobbed them again. It appears that there is nothing Dumbo cannot use to job these erstwhile intelligent people. Anyway no promised roads, seaport and land port for the east.

On The economy: Please don't believe figures. The economy was rebased meant that the basis of calculation of GDP was changed to correct for some things. What it meant was that Nigeria had been the largest economy in Africa even before Jonathan joined NDDC not to talk of joining politics. What the rebasing has done negatively is qualified Nigeria for more loans which Okonjo would like, Jonathan would hate but would be too afraid to complain. Recall that it is Okonjo that presents all the budgets now as the president is too afraid and does not even understand the figures.

This is political language in election season. Okupe called Buhari a man from the past last week, I have heard him called terrorist many times, some people in the papers even said because he left office without money he is a failure who embraces poverty and wont manage the economy properly. that is not political language.i think it has to do with identity/ideological crises.parties are know for what they stand for=ideology.but if part of the ideologies of PDP(for instance) is using inciting/revolutionary comments,APC should use it against them and not being caught in the same madness.
