Lagos - President Goodluck Jonathan, who is the Peoples Democratic Party's presidential candidate and the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari have been urged to meet and sign a memorandum of undertaking that they would control their respective supporters after the 2015 elections, reports Tribune. In a letter addressed to the two presidential candidates, a former Nigeria's External Affairs Minister, Professor Bolaji Akinyemi, stated that post-election violence was inevitable in the February 14, 2015, except the duo was committed to a peace undertaking. Akinyemi, the vice chairman of the just-concluded national conference, said the violence of 2015 is going to be worse than the one of 2011 for the simple reason that the illegal massive importation of weapons into the country has reached such alarming proportions. He noted that if President Jonathan wins, the North would erupt into violence as it did in 2011and If Buhari wins, the Niger Delta will erupt into violence. That won't stop those cows in the north from running wild if their brother should lose. Southerners are peace loving and nothing will happen if Buhari should win. |

Firefire: When will you stop encouraging yourself wrongly?! Can't you see the handwriting on the wall?! Even this man knows the winner and the loser already. Akinyemi, the vice chairman of the just-concluded national conference, said the violence of 2015 is going to be worse than the one of 2011 for the simple reason that the illegal massive importation of weapons into the country has reached such alarming proportions. @bold, who is he referring to?! Tompolo, I guess. This man knows that GEJ would lose, he's only trying to stop Tompolo from mis-using his illegally acquired weapons after GEJ loses! |
