[b][/b]my hp dv9000 shows a black screen it comes up normally but nothing shows one the screen the screen lights comes up but notin shows on the screen pls I need ur help

Have you tried connecting to a monitor? If it works with the monitor then the laptops vga card is bad else you might be looking at a board logic problem.

No I haven't am thinking of using a HDMI cable and see how it goes
