Regions And States That Won 2011 Election For PDP. by Nobody: 11:35am On Dec 23, 2014 |
election is not decided by the number of registered voters but by the number of people who actually voted. looking at the 2011 election result it will be noted that majority of the individuals who participated in the elections were from abia, imo, anambra, akwa ibom, bauchi, delta, jigawa, kaduna, lagos, kano, katsina, borno, plateau and rivers state, these were the states with the highest number of voters. kaduna had the highest with over two million voters while all other of the states listed above had more than 1million voters. now let's try and compare the information above with the number of registered voters in each state of the federation, you will agree with me that registration of voters is one thing and ability to vote is another thing. according to the 2011 presidential elections, majority of PDP votes came from ABIA 1,175,984 AKWA-IBOM 1,165,629 ANAMBRA 1,145,169 DELTA 1,378,851 IMO 1,381,357 KADUNA 1,190,179 LAGOS 1,281,688 PLATEAU 1,029,865 RIVERS 1,817,762 and the regional vote for PDP was; southwest 2,836417 southeast 4,985246 southsouth 6,014283 northwest 3,024797 northcentral+fct 3,376570 northeast 1, 498425 on the other hand, majority of cpc votes came from: kaduna 1,334,244 kano 1,624,543 katsina 1,163,919 bauchi 1,315,209 borno 909,763 Conclusion: elections are not won by number of registered voters but number of actual voters, if any party will really want to win an election in nigeria, they must focus on states with enlightened voters who will register and also vote. These states are the most important in election based on number of prospective voters: lagos, kano, akwa ibom, rivers, imo, anambra, abia, borno, kaduna, bauchi, katsina, delta, plateau. elections are not won by online simulation. 25 Likes |

You and I know that what the PDP did in South East and South South Was statistical harakiri by jumping numbers in voodoo! The South West were not interested in the presidential election hence the low turn out! Most of the elites and traditional rulers in the North were in support of jonathan (he promised to do one term) hence their ability to rig somes states like Kano, Kaduna, jigawa, Gombe etc for him! Fast-forward to 2015 where the above factors are now against him, you will understand why majority of the bookmakers are right! 32 Likes |

Kenai: Let me burst your confidence! Buhari left with no party agents in south south, south west and south East left a field day for the PDP to rig till they were tired! I was in my village then, no election took place! People were outdoing one another in the Thumbprinting business for jonathan! However the north is now ready to match the South with figures! So stay calm and watch! 19 Likes |

NgeneUkwenu:woman, calm your nerves, i knew the next field of play will be that PDP rigged the election. you will not make same comment when goats and sheep were been counted in the north during census but y'all will start shouting rigging if the circumstance does not suit your ego. that above figure was accepted by all of us (including you) and various international bodies and it was that same figure that made jonathan president till date. please spare me your rigging epistle. 22 Likes 1 Share |

alot of the registered voters in north are from Niger republic and they have all been deported. The number of actual valid votes that will be casted in north east next year will not be up to 2million. In fact, even if 100 gods come to the aid of Buhari,he will surely be defeated by President Jonathan. 14 Likes |

customized13: if you want to know of truly SWesterners really show much interest in that election, compare the APC votes in the presidential election with their votes in the Presidential election. The truth of the matter is that APC simply refuse to mobilize their machinery for the election and they serve more as onlookers for the Presidential election. |
