Aks: I support the bolded..How can someone say he has been in the nse and has never made a loss. This is the reason i dont believe 100% what most people write here (Many are pretenders). Even warren buffet made several loses, so i dont understand what i just read today from Dumexoga. I believe his account has been hacked by another person. 3 Likes |

Dumexoga: Ok..i see the bolded..I thought you meant you never made a single loss before.. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by presiade(m): 9:54am On Dec 24, 2014 |
In this game, you only make a loss when you ('panic') sell. If you are patient enough you won't sell at a loss, not that your portfolio will not go red, but in the long run you'll bail out with a profit. Don't misconstrue what Dumexy said. |

Born2berich: Growing up in Nigeria, i have always heard this popular slogan, which says that, the rich gets richer while the poor, poorer. I have also come to the conclusion that, the poor gets poorer because, they sit down, criticize and analyze. While the rich, plan and strategize. I always hear people talk about the cowboys here dumping on other peoples head. Have you ever sat down to think why are they always coming at the die minute to buy and take profits? The answer is because they are smarter than you and they want to take the little you have and add to theirs. So as a sharp man, all you need do is play the game along with them and join in the league of cowboys, rather than criticizing and analyzing. People talk to much here, just wake up and be wise. A lot of people fail exams because they wanna write and give more references more than their lecturer. Happy investing 1 Like |

Born2berich: Hehehehe,Born2berich na learner?. I suspect you are one of the Chairmen I was referring to . If you have the faintest idea of how frontally packaged Mercy is,you'd understand why honorable sold that asset at such a huge discount . I dont blame the honorable sha. Who wouldnt do the same ?.Personally , I would dash her the car with full insurance, on the condition that she remains in "good standing" .......... |

Dumexoga: I actually dont agree with this post.. Analysis and criticism is a prevailing factor in any key investment decision to be taken all over the world..Imagine if everybody kept quiet (no analysis or criticism) will you even be here to write this comment? Will this thread still exist? Will there be investment forums? The answer is NO. Even investment houses like Meristem send to their clients their own analysis and critism of the market, but the MAJOR determine factor is YOU. It is up to you if you accept their investment strategies or Not..The decision to buy or sell still lies in your hands.. When the market crashed in 2008 so many people didnt sell and were greatly hurt. I know of someone who bought ETI share at N300 now ETI sells for barely N16 after 8years of waiting so you dont expect that individual to panic when sure occurrence is likely to happen again?. Anyways, i wish you the best. |

Aks: are you a trader or investor? if you are a trader, then perhaps you can rightly fret about all these prophecasting going on here! If you on the other hand you are an investor, then you'd find most of these as 'irrational exuberance'. in this season I started buying FBNH at 11.82 until 7.79; UBA from 5.08 until 4.21; (plus a host of others) I would have panicked when these valuations got as ridiculous if there was any real news of a run on these banks 1 Like |

Born2berich: Thanks man. I bailed out! 18% gain (After deduction of both purchase and selling costs). I no like NSE. The rat race is crazy. I need a real time monitoring machine to always see exact bid and offer status. This will help me make more informed decisions. |
