He was never an atheist, he believes in a pantheon of gods. The gods of his forefathers and he has great love for ogun especially.

And a lot of people who have never heard, read nor seen this man keeps talking out of ignorance. Soyinka has never loved Buhari since the 80s, he has never trusted obasanjo since they were playmates in Abeokuta, he hopes obj would change and keeps getting dissapointed.
