just listen to yourself when he said he didnt have shoes did he specify the age at that time(he decieved people that throughout his days in otoeke schs which as at this tennage age he is supposed to still be in sch, he never wore shoes, but we now knw he even had a nice designer sleeve). The same lie is used in 2011 is now hunting him

Also we may have to consider the narrative behind the story.

Maybe a special day, more like a Christmas or something close and maybe that's his best cloth he was wearing and that the photo was taken at a photo studio. We have to agree that not many people in nigeria own their personal cameras back then except for some commercial studios.

Also the Toy Horse maybe a part of the aesthetics of the studio. I remember visiting photo studios during festivity periods was something we always looked up to back then. Even the poorest of Nigerians do this. So they may have been truly poor.

However, been poor or rich does not however tell whether you would be a good leader. Some are poor but a little affluence and they go beserk and some are stupendously rich but still connect with the realities of life.
