This so called Bishop most be living in a planet other than the earth. Otherwise, he should have known that we have passed the stage (of lies) that Buhari will Islamise Nigeria should he come to power. Besides, let the Bishop tells the public where and when Buhari said he would Islamise Nigeria. I said this because the onus is on him who alleged to prove his allegation. And in the event that he fails to, then a rumour monger he is. It is very unfortunate that even people that claim to be men of God now choose to relay on rumour and mudslinding. Mr Bishop should be informed that Buhari is real, his integrity is comparable to none as far as Nigeria is concern. He's people today, the people's General. Hardly will nigeria ever see His type in a near future should he be lost. No lie shall prosper against him. 1 Like |

WOCKHARDI:so if anybody asks GMB to do something he should just go ahead. After he must have finished promising, another person will come up with another for him to do Haba, you guys should just free the man. GEJ will surely win 2015 but we should just allow the innocent man to relax. I, personally like GMB. |

loomer:What truth has he said? Your Bishop is nothing but a rumour monger. If I were you, I would have asked him when and where Buhari declared that he would Islamise Nigeria. Ask him his sources. So there is no point telling us that Buhari most refute the allegation openly. Doing that is admission of authorship of the unfounded statement. By the way, do you think that if voting were to be done base on religion in nigeria Jonathan would win election against Buhari? I put it to you that people would flock to Buhari even if the lie was actually truth. He is integrity, truth, honesty, incorruptible, trustworthy, reliability, selfless, etc. Maybe, You don't know how popular this man (Buhari) is in the north. Think well, he pulled 12 million votes despite all the lies against him spread by gangs of political criminals from north and south. Finally, I wish to advise your types that you should try as much as possible to be yourselves, instead of allowing some other people who claim to be men of God to be teleguiding you with lies and unfounded rumours. They are human just as you are. They don't know more than the world. You could discern things even better than they could. Be yourself! 2 Likes |

F22RAPTOR: You are somewhere in the neighbourhood of imbecility! ISIS is a radical group of Muslims slaughtering other muslims, who do not follow their own peculiar sect. Is Iraq not a majority Muslim country again? There are millions of hausa Christians in the North and bh has been killing both Muslim and Christian. Is it that only the deaths of Christians is of concern to you? Yet these communities will all survive because people do no give up their faiths easily. The problem is you see the president as a god who is able to do all things, and yet when we accuse Jonathan of docility and gross negligence, you still rush in to say other people to blame not him? GMB, is a member of a party, and the apc has a Christian as chairman, just as the chairman of the pdp is Muslim. Neither party has a manifesto that mentions anything about religionisation of anywhere. The apc is looking to discuss things that will move the country forward, like job creation, housing, education, security... Important issues that will impact the lives of the impoverished masses. Please take your black propaganda elsewhere. #fail 1 Like 1 Share |

Many comments are quite amusing. The request by the bishop is not out order. The truth is many Christians will vote GMB and its not out of place for him to clear the air on some comments credited to him. For those who seem better enlightened, know that in places where votes count and the people are valued, GMB would definitely have to respond to the accusation. Or why would Obama need to address coloured races in US? However village like the world may become, a people will always have their peculiarity, which cannot just be wished away. Some are just too 'smart' in ignorance sha. That religion and tribal issues play important roles in our poliics is something we cannot just wish away, we must grow out of it with proer sense and never by name calling, insulting one another or feeling superior to others. |

Why does the nigerian constitution mentions islam, muslims, mosque hundred of times and not once does it make reference to christian or church or ogun or any other religion, before you call me a bigot let me say that the Nigerian constitution is the bigot!!! Nigeria is not a country for muslims it is a country for all.

The only problem is some are just scared and confused abt his stance. some Christians think he will turn Nigeria into an islamic nation. He should just convince nd assure them he won't that's all I asked. And for the bishop, I know him not just heard of the very day I posted my comment. we no de go church for country wey I de. |

adeusolu: Don't you understand that every Muslim has the free choice to use Sharia or the regular courts? Sharia is not compulsory for any Muslim to accept even if there is social pressure. How does a system of justice that is voluntary for Muslims willing to subject themselves to Islamic law affect me as a Christian? If there are 2 Muslims having an issue in enugu and they decide to settle according to sharia principles, how does that affect their neighbours? Does it mean enugu has been islamised? The igbo communities in the North, do they not still arrange their affairs in line with their culture, from marriage to sharing property when a person dies? Don't the yorubas in the North still follow their traditions in such matters? We have our own traditions but we do not call them Christian because they existed before Christianity arrived. The Muslims chose to embrace Islamic law within the constraints of the constitution. Why should that trouble me? 1 Like |
