okikskis:
I had to pray and fast(7days), well I needed to involve God in it,because even all the knowledge on this forum can fail you but God would never fail, on the 3rd day God already answered and showed me through a night vision, on the 7th day he also confirmed it through Isaiah 43:26b" Declare thou , that thou mayest be justified"( in other words- that thou mayest be seen eligible for VISA), So I started quoting the scriptures. Some of the scriptures I used were : Deut 31:6&8, Hebrews 13:5&6,Prov 21:1, Psalm 34:5,6& 7, Is 41:10,Psalm 102:13,Is 26:8&9,Jer 29:11,12&13, Is 49:15&16,Psalm 5:11-12,Ps 34:7,Ps 84:11&12 ,James 1:17,Is 50:7, Psalm 118:6&7, Rom 5:2,Lk 18:27, Matthew 19:26, 2kings 3:17, 2 Chronicles 14:11
The word works wonders!!! Try it

abujaniv: Hello Nairalanders,
VO here. We are continuing to see people appear at the Embassy and Consulate for an interview with DS-160 information that differs from their appointment confirmation. This is a friendly reminder that:
• The DS-160 non-immigrant visa application confirmation number used to schedule visa interviews must match the application confirmation page that is brought to the interview. Applicants who do not meet these criteria will not be interviewed and will have to purchase a new fee receipt to book another appointment. This includes families – make sure that the DS-160 information matches the appointment information for every family member, even young children.
• Full instructions on how to make an appointment for a non-immigrant visa interview are available on our website: http://nigeria.usembassy.gov.
• Applicants with existing appointments should contact the CGI Call Center at +234 0144 06218 to make any necessary changes.
We believe this change will make application processing faster and more efficient, and we thank you for your attention.
Compliments of the season, U.S. Mission to Nigeria

Hello! To all my Nairaland friends since 2010 till date. I want to appreciate all of you for your support and encouragement to me and to others. You all wonderful and nice. Well, I will start by saying God of Shiloh as done it for me because it was just like a dream yesterday at the US CONSULATE LAGOS.
Let me share a little experience about me. Am Adedeji, I was 23 years old when I started the process Since August 3, 2010 have been going to the embassy to apply for undergraduate F1 student visa and I was denied 7 times from 2010 to Jan 6, 2014. Just yesterday 24 of Dec, 2014 God favour's was upon me before the consular any document was not ask to show. AT AGE OF 27 I was granted.
Let me share you my experience at the US EMBASSY
I got to the embassy 6:12 am by 6:30am we where told to line up for screening. After the screening by the security men at the first gate and second gate, I got inside we are almost students that came in for student visa yesterday. So i got thumb print and my document was taken inside so we all waited for the consular to come and start the interview for us. After they came in the Lady at the center was nice she almost granted every student that come to her front even there is one China man there he was just rejecting students he granted only one before I left. So the lady called my number.
MY INTERVIEW GOES LIKE THESE
VO: She called my name ME: Yes VO: You are going to Bleep univ ME: Yes VO: How do you get the school ME: My lecturer at Olabisi Onabanjo University referred the school to me and I also made research online about the school. VO:What did you want to study ME: Computer Science VO: Why did you want to study CS ME:To have more advance knowledge in software and hardware and also to build my own software that will exit to solve people's problem VO: She nodded VO: when the did you finished your High school? ME: 2008 VO: Did you went to Uni ME: Yes VO: Which UNI ME: Olabisi onabanjo Uni VO: What did you study ME: Diploma in Accounting VO: When did you finished ME: 2014 Note: before that I said 2004 the woman corrected herself 2014 because I put 2014 on the DS160 form VO: Who is your sponsor ME: My DAD VO: What does he do ME: Medical Doctor at Lagos State teaching Hospital VO: She was busy typing looking at the computer screen , I was like make these woman no go denied me again still typing for like 3mins after that she just pressed enter on the keyboard and picked up a white paper and show me pick up your visa at the issued visa center. I just replied her back thank you packed my bag left the build with joy, happiness after 7 times and now got it the 8times it was DIVINE FAVOUR, MIRACLE and also like a DREAM.
Any document was not asked from me.
NOTE: I just want to tell all Nairaland F1 student still going for interview this year please pray and be confidence don't be distracted by other applicant been denied visa and also if you have been refused visa before, keep applying don't give up until you get it.
Thank you all

Hello. Abbey my advise for you is to apply to school before you finish your program and make sure you have the 2016 spring I20 with you so that you can apply for your visa by December 2015. And also about the course it depends on you which one you specialize most don't just apply to course you didn't understand.
@Darklight, my advise for you is to mail the school to defer your admission for fall 2015 and make you get your I20 early so that you can apply at the embassy early before your school resume. don't waste your for these spring is already too late. But you can pay your sevis since is the same sevis number is the will issue on your fall I20 |
