egift:you people always talk about PDP and corruption... What has changed in Tinubu whom EFCC decleard as the most corrupt governor in 2003. Even OBJ in hi book My Watch still re-echoed it. What has made Tinubu a saint? He was the most corrupt governor in 2003 and today he is the cleanest Nigerian & also anti corruption fighter... It is a pity how we forget so soon... 3 Likes |

I really enjoy reading comments from the APC angels about the PDP devils. APC angels such as Tinubu, Oshomole, Okorochas, Amaechi, and all the aggrieved members of the PDP who are now members of the APC. But what you people fail to know is that: THE DEVILS YOU KNOW ARE BETTER THAN THE ANGELS YOU DO NOT KNOW! As for me, I prefer the devils and will stick with them. 1 Like |

balladin: This is Ribadu on his defection: He said, “As for my next step in this political struggle, this would be made known in due time. For now, I wish to assure you that my defection is in pursuit of a good cause, and never out of any selfish interests as portrayed by a section. It wouldn't have been hard to say this is because Jonathan is an inspirational leader. |

But let me ask him if it makes any sense physically or spiritually to speak negatively about your nation and pray positively about yourself as if you can prosper in your home after cursing it with your mouth? Words on a marble!!! Something every Nigerian should be think about |

9jii: If d present system favours u, you wont want corruption to end so u expecting gmb to end corruption is impossible because the pple around him are products of corruption eg aregbe, rochas & ameachi etc. corruption can't end so dont live with that illusion. If u tink dis politicians r different- u r foolish. Research to know weda they ve paid salaries in d past months. Both pdp & apc leaders r same. What we need is for power to b decentralized like a true federalist country. Personally, I don't support a clergyman entering politics. |

The news was carried on Aljazeerah. Even amnesty international condemned that particular attack. Boko haram issue requires serious investigation. BE WISE |

@ Post, This must be the most useless article written by Reno. This dude has the effrontery to demean our collective reasoning with this sentimental article shrouded within the ambits of religion. I have said it times without number, and I reiterate, GEJ's media team are wholly responsible for the ethno religious bigotry sweeping across the nation. A citizen of Nigeria in the person of Osinbajo shares his views about the performance of the President by citing him as "visionless" and the best reply is to attack the man's faith. How useless can Reno be? Who is he to pronounce Jonathan as innocent, in a country where corruption is unabated, in a country where people are dying everyday from insurgency which has been left too long unattended to, in a country where poverty and unemployment are in monumental proportions? Imagine him citing Jonathan as the anointed one. Chai, this must be the most satirical nonsense of the year. Anybody can call the President anything. What is important as a media rep, is to give a counter within the remit of the discussions or shut up. In the eyes of these irresponsible aides, Jonathan is without guilt or blame. He is the best thing to ever happen in their lives. They should at least consider that a handful of them eating crumbs from his table are far less than 0.1% of the populace. A leader who cannot withstand criticism is bound to fall, ask King Saul. We have challenges and GEJ's team must acknowledge it. Narcissism and pride will further destroy any iota of goodwill left! 1 Like |

Samunique: "Change: a verb (used with object), changed, changing. to make the form, nature, content, future course, etc., of (something) different from what it is or from what it would be if left alone: "to change one's name;" "to change one's opinion;" "to change the course of history." Last 8years of his being the number 1 citizen of this country, I havent seen 1 thing that he has done differently!. What this present administration has saddled its with is the responsibility of rigmaroling around the past programs of the Obasanjos regime. Tell me when last u heard of Nigerian airways?, Ghana our brother there has many on it fleet buh to mention a few. What really can u expect from a government that cannot think out of the box?, with Us being one of the largest economy in Africa, where do u presently think we are today on the on the world map? Why do u think ur neighbour still clamour to run to Dubai on the next available opportunity he has? I am lone ranger and I dont have any masters. I speak for those educated fellows on the street whose future rest on good and visionary leadership. This isnt abt GMB/OSINBANJO, its a desire for things to be done differently. We are tired of seeing a refurbished Nigeria, we want a NEW Nigeria, one in which our coming children(generation) wont have to run to dubai or Afghanistan nor Pakistan in search of greener pastures. The pastures are greener enough at home, here in Nigeria. #2015voteforchange |

Phargbemmy: With all due respect...what change are u referring to Is it APC (made up of majorly defected PDP-polithiefcians) or Buhari - an Islamist fundamentalist. Dnt get me wrong...am all for change but... not if the opposition presents smtn far worse and sinister. Electing Buhari will begin the era of islamic dominance swiftly followed by the long-planned Islamization of Nigeria...the same fate that befell Turkey will surely be upon us...(U can read up the history of Turkey, a nation with over a thousand year history of Christianity, that groomed most of the early Apostles and early Church) Believe me when i tell u that there is more to Buhari's agenda than what u hear in the news. Appointin a christian VP means nothing and can stop nothing. Dnt be deceived. I knw u have ur doubts but Jonathan is the trajectory we need. He may not be the main agent of transformation but he will usher it in. I believe 2015 will be a turning point for good in Nigeria's history...and Buhari will never enter Aso rock...as long as God is on the throne. 4 Likes |

Samunique: I always get confused when people shout change to the praise of those who want to take advantage of their support. I myself wondered why some of the acclaimed agents of change are taking matters of national interest so personal. Lives and properties are being wasted daily they are boasting end of terrorism within a Month if given the opportunity to serve. But why can't they end it now? If they are sincere, they should declare their strategies, or appeal to the sponsors if they will listen to them to stop financing terrorism and call their boys to order. I am earnestly hoping for change but these politicians whose intentions are known are difficult to trust. I had expected true change on our constitution... respecting fundamental human rights and giving solid plan for socio economic development. |

Kachi188:Government and the security operatives too do not help matters. What do you want the opposition to do when the ruling party and security operatives like SSS already blame them for every bomb blast.? Can some you've accused of a crime have the audacity to assist you? Opposition is merely doin it's work. Thank God for APC , for aside them.... There is no other opposition. |

Legacy44:When Apc says 'change' I don't think you understood what the meant. The change is a process that has to start... Gradually. We ain't talking about a magic or miracle here. We're talking about starting a journey of a thousand miles with one step at a time. Change that you and I will be part of. Our generation may not get to the promised land but our children and children's children will be proud that we took that step.. . Against all odds. That's the change. It's a journey. |

Datsme: Can you vouch with your life that Tinubu shouldn't be in jail for looting?? Buharists are just like jihadists their emotions betray their reasoning What change has APC brought to their states? Are their state's electoral commissions now worse than Inec; are the LGs not mere appandages of the state govts;are their senators not pocketing the outragous $1M annual pay along with the PDP? I am not saying PDP of GEJ is okay but let's not carry on as if APC is better! |
