In a move to strengthen the position of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to win all elections in 2015 in Rivers State, PDP Governorship Candidate, Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, on Christmas Day reconciled with nine aggrieved governorship aspirants, with the aspirants declaring that they would work for the victory of the PDP in 2015.
The reconciliation took place in the presence of the Rivers State PDP Chairman, Felix Obuah, Minister of Sports, Dr Tammy Danagogo and Senator George Sekibo. These leaders signed the communiqué alongside the governorship candidate and the nine aspirants.
Barrister Wike had earlier on reconciled with six other aspirants, bringing the number of aspirants who have resolved to work for the PDP to 15 out of the 24 who bought forms and were cleared to contest the December 8, 2014 PDP governorship primary in Rivers State.

The governorship aspirants who resolved to work with Barrister Wike at the meeting held at Le Meridien Hotel, Port Harcourt in the overall interest of the PDP include; Professor Don Baridon, Mr Ben Dimpka, Professor Israel Owate, Mr Siha Ofonyi, Mr Richard Victor, Engineer Beks Dagogo Jack, Mr Nimi Wilson-Jack, B.D Esale and Mr Dennis Oseleye Ojuta.

Reconcile who and who? The real aggrieved indgenes of Rivers state cannot be reconciled on this. 24yrs of upland rule and 16yrs of Ikwerre rule? Wike who ruled Obio/Akpor for 8yrs and handed over to his kitchen brother Timothy Nsirim. Instead of shifting power to Akpor or Evo clan of d council. If Wike succeeds, another Ikwerre man will emerge to take over from him since there is no longer zoning in PDP. The kalabaris and other tribes in Rivers state will surely regret their action if they support wike to win. Am talking with facts. He did it in Obio/Akpor LGA. Since 1999 till when Timothy Nsirim was removed from Office by Governor Amaechi, wike and his brothers have been ruling an LGA as big as Obio/Akpor like their personal estate. Its a fact we all know.

surely, if things are done the way they r supposed to be then i think Wike really stands a chance of occupying the Governor's house come next year..Amaechi n his APC crew are not living up to our expectation.i evn wonder if Apc wl win a seat in the SHOA wen considering the level of its unpopularity in River State.Amaechi rli made a wrong choice by decamping to a political party which is more south- western n northern inclined..a party which parades the most hungriest political power seekers who r ready to do whatever it takes just to be in power..

ruler of Nigeria to come and lead them on
a rescue mission. It is now clearer that APC
is a waste basket of the PDP,where the
people who created and perpetuated the "
16 Disastrous years" are now dumped.
