Most people will sit in front of their computer and type rubbish assuming things they see in other countries. There is nothing wrong with those trains joor (sic). I live here in the US and still see such trains. Most trains here are owned by private investors. Once the government can get this started and the private investors see this as a prospective business, they will invest and bring in better fleet. Like the road transport business in Nigeria today where investors scramble to improve their fleet to woo customers. I think the government has started in the right direction and should be supported. Let us leran to appreciate what we have and work towards improving them, rather than make false condemnation 31 Likes |

I am showing the best of the each country. You have seen the best of Nigeria. Compare them with the best of Nigeria which is DMU. I am not impressed with GEJ's trains. Theyre a rip off. Watch how this rail project will die an infant death because they're not planned woth the times we live in. Also, theyre not integrated to other transport modes like the sea ports, inland ports. I expected rail lines from Apapa port to the hinterland, dredging River Niger at Onitsha and putting a rail line from there to Aba. I am sorry but it is disappointing. Instead of this wasteful rail project that is not well thought out and integrated, GEJ should have focused on either the Power Sector or Refineries. Honestly Nigeria would have been better off because these are the No. 1 problems with the country alongside Insecurity. 4 Likes |

Collynzo22: I prefer the Ghanaian ones sorry. It looks safer with wider windscreen and its neater. The GEJ one looks refurbished. The Ghanaian one does not have elaborate engines taking over the locomotive itself, probably a more efficient design. See how GEJ trains are all engines in the locomotive. Those are pollutants if you ask me. 3 Likes |

Syphax: So my brother let's assume you're a semi literate that didn't complete your education. Say you stopped at JSS 3. After say 10 years you went back to school as an adult. Are you going to start from Nursery school again? Of course not. That's what this GEJ rail project is. |
