LMAyedun: They are following d footsteps of their evil mentor Buhari. Buhari’s comments “If what happened in 2011 (alleged rigging) should again happen in 2015, by the grace of God, the dog and the baboon would all be soaked in blood “ May 2012 “I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria… God willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country.” August 2001 This campaign (2011) is the third and last one for me. I will not present myself again for election into the office of the president. 2011 The joyful thing is that I didn’t say I quit politics. I will never quit politics as far as I live. I only said that I will not present myself to contest but my party members said they want me to remain in the race. February 2013 They (Niger-Delta militants) were trained in some skills and were given employment but the ones in the north were being killed and their houses were being demolished. They are different issues, what brought this? It is injustice. May 2014 And I said, and I have no regret saying it, the biggest Boko Haram is the Federal Government itself, because it has all the powers to stop anarchy in the country. Now, the social part of the country has been paralyzed, economic activities have stopped. People are no longer thinking of employment, they are thinking of what to eat and how to go about the following day. When people try to get job or contract and they couldn’t get it, they make a quick research and created a problem for people who refuse to do them the favour. What we did was that you must not embarrass those civil servants. If you have got evidence that somebody was corrupt, the courts were there. Take the evidence to court, the court will not spare whoever it was. But you don’t just go and write articles that were embarrassing. Those who did it, the editors, the reporters, we jailed them… December 2012 It is clear from what they profess that they are not followers of God. They do not mean well for our country and her citizens. I am a Muslim, I am versed in the teaching of Christianity and I understand both religions seek peaceful co- existence of all humanity. “I wish to reiterate that there is no justification whatsoever for this unrestrained disregard for the sanctity of human life. It has no place in the Holy Quran and neither does it have a place in the Holy Bible. May 2014 We cannot create states because none of the states can stabd on its feet. I don’t know the number of local governments we are going to have this is what has landed us in this trouble. Feb 1984 The principle of no work, no pay will strictly be enforced and economic sabotage by companies will not be tolerated. If your money wage can buy 10 loaves of bread and we manage to reduce the price of bread so that the same money wage can buy 20 loaves of the same size of bread as before, your real wage has doubled. Feb 1984 Nigeria is capable of dealing with this. We dealt with the civil war, for 30 months, we fought and we kept Nigeria one and God willing we are going to keep Nigeria one,” he said. “When this question of Boko Haram started, I’m sure it was on record that the first statement I made about 18 months ago was that the sect members were not religion advocates and that what is happening basically is terrorism. This is terrorism and I hope the government will come to grip with it.” July 2014 In 2015, there must be a free and fair election or there will be a serious crisis. God willing by 2015, something will happen. They either conduct a free and fair election or they go a very disgraceful way. As in 2003 and 2007, the Supreme Court this morning rejected CPC’s appeal against the Lower Court verdict that the rigged Presidential election of 16th, April 2011 was properly conducted. All who witnessed the conduct of the 2011 elections would know that this decision of the Supreme Court is politically motivated and has little judicial content. December 2011 What happened in this year’s 2011 elections eclipsed all the other elections in the depth and scope of forgery and rigging. Initially there were high hopes that after 2003 and 2007 a semblance of electoral propriety would be witnessed. The new chairman of INEC, Professor Jega, was touted as competent and a man of integrity. He has proved neither. Nigeria is a country made up of hundreds of ethnic groups with over 250 spoken languages and dialects. Because it has pleased Almighty God to bring many ethnic nationalities under a common destiny called Nigeria, we owe it to ourselves to evolve institutional ways to get along. This Nigeria is still the same country where we use to sing: “though tribes and tongues may differ in brotherhood we stand!” March 2,2011 The country now has to live with the consequences of the actions of PDP government in collaboration with INEC, police and security services over the last 10 years. A country on the brink of developing into the major continental power in 1999 is now a fractured society, corruption everywhere, violence everywhere, a sense of helplessness and hopelessness nearly everywhere. What is responsible for the security situation in the country is caused by the activities of Niger Delta militants. Every Nigerian that is familiar with what is happening knows this. The Niger Delta militants started it all. What happened is that the governors of the Niger Delta region at that time wanted to win their elections. So they recruited the youths and gave them guns and bullets and used them against their opponents to win elections by force. We are at a cross road in this country. 2015 is going to be another watershed in Nigerian politics. We decided to come together as a party so that we can rescue this country from bad governance. From Maiduguri to Badagry, from Katsina to Port Harcourt, the situation is the same. |

Re: How I Ended Maitatsine Crisis, By Buhari by Nobody: 9:22am On Dec 28, 2014 |
koikoi2: Regrettable....but let's be honest...no free and fair elections, problems happen. Now 2011 was an improvement....but there were still problems (And INEC'S PVR problems show there may still be issues). And how about the rigging machines that are State INEC'S.... Nigeria's electoral process still needs improvement....which is what Buhari really meant.(Though he could have used better language). “I will continue to show openly and inside me Again regrettable. But assuming a GMB presidency wants to implement Sharia all over? He may have to get National Assembly approval....and he won;t get the two thrids majority. Plus...it would require amending the constitution...which would mean getting two thrids majorities in every state....which you know won't happen. Plus....GMB would be forced to back down....because of the potential for problems. Politicains compromise....especially when their bottom line is threatened. This campaign (2011) is the third and last one Well...he should have retired. But politicians don't always keep their promises....recall what a certain Ebele said in 2010..... February 2013 To some extent true....the Army has committed a lot of atrocities against people in the North who have had nothing to do with Boko. But Buhari too is being a bit naive....Boko are fanatics...not like Niger Delta millitants.....and amnesty was offered...but they (Boko) did not listen. And I said, and I have no regret saying it, the Again, partly true. The Army needs to develop efficient assymetric warfare capability. One of the reasons why Boko has gotten out of control is the lack of an effective assymentric warfare capability. We are fighting an enemy that does not observe Queensberry rules. As for the press....Journalists get treated diffenerntly under Army than under constitutional rule. It is clear from what they profess that they are If he said that about Boko....then that's good. Boko in my mind are just evil. I don;t think they are fighting for the North anymore....especially after attacking Kano Mosque.... We cannot create states because none of the In 1984....our economy was broke thanks to Shagari and his amazing friends' using our economy as their personal piggy bank. Add the fact that oil prices had been in free fall since 1982.....and you would see why Buhari was not too eager to create new states in 1984. Infact today....we don;t need new states. As the recent stats show...most States cannot survive on their own.Best you vote for proper govenrors who work to make their states financially independent...like Lagos does by enforcing tax rules...which you Nigerians don;t like because....you have oil! The principle of no work, no pay will strictly be Yes...and our economy in 1984 was in trouble. BECAUSE.....Shagari;s lads and lassies had made it broke....and because of the fall in oil prices. We needed to make savings drastically. And am sure you grumble when lecturers/doctors/etc went on strike over the last few years.... Nigeria is capable of dealing with this. We dealt Again, what is wrong with that? Boko is now killing Muslims as well as Christians....it isn;t about religion....it is about Shekau being number one. In 2015, there must be a free and fair election Re...my comment above. INEC needs reforming to conduct proper elections (Note...I did not say APC must win). 1 Like 1 Share |

It's quite an interesting thread with a lot of genuine and falsefied comments. But seriously speaking, the only genuine reason why APC wants the presidential seat come 2015 is not because they have a new change to introduce rather they want to unseat PDP from the seat. That's all...He that will catch a monkey must behave like one. SMH for some Nigeria. Neither a PDP no APC but truth must be told |

Etinosajay:Why then did buhari not condemn the attacks? You think we have short memories. BTW The Anti Progress Crowd make so much noise on the internet, and if you follow that, you will be disappointed, ie the Anambara, Ekiti and is it Ondo states elections, You the vocal minority had practically won all the elections online but failed woefully offline, it is only on the net I see so much noise okay? If you yearn for a country without all you mentioned above, what then is your view to TRUE FEDERALISM? You think buhari can do it by going about jailing people (his enemies ) here and there. That is not the solution, if you have malaria and take panadol, yes you fight fever and headache and they will subside, what then happens when the effects of the drugs were off, you go back to square one, why because the source of the problem is still around. You run round a circle thereby covering a lot of distance but made no displacement. Do you think that is the solution? |

Yea...yea,many will say that they are not feeling GEJ,and he is not performing. But GMB is not any better!!! Ignorant people that know no shit about GMB keep saying GMB till 2019,if they really know the man, they will weep bitterly for Nigeria if he succeeds in deceiving Nigerians and getting elected. As a youth corp member serving in the North,we saw hell there! We watched GMB cry on national tv,urging his supporters to vote him in and at the same time instructing them to unleash hell should he loose. He lost and his wishes of violence where carried out...Southerners(Igbos and yorubas were slaughtered). Six of my colleagues too didn't make it!!!! Its a pity. May their souls rest in peace. Amen. If not for the soldiers that took us in,and Fashola that flew us out,I won't probably be typing this!!!! While crying on tv,he said 2011 would be his last campaign, buh here he is,clamoring for votes, nonsense!!! Please and please, vote wisely! GMB is a SHARIA supporter,a core fanatic,an extremist,a BH sympathizer, and all what not!!! GMB is just a green snake in a green grass,a chameleon, who has hidden all his henoius intentions, waiting patiently like a viper to islamize Nigeria and commence his long suppressed grieve against IBB,OBJ and few other military heads of state and retired generals. The funny part is they(IBB,ObJ and others)won't just sit back and watch you enter and come after them with you hounds, they have for sure endorsed GEJ fyi and have sworn that your ass aint gona sit on that number one seat in aso rock. PLEASE vote wisely and ask yourselves "WHAT HAPPENS TO SOUTHERNERS IN THE NORTH IF GMB LOOSES?!!!" I know for sure that violence will be instigated, but this time he will get himself arrested!!! GOD BLESS NIGERIA!!!!!! |

This coming election has been riddled with all sorts of campaigns of calumny. Its getting ridiculous. The way i see it, GEJ would not have needed to campaign much if he had really performed well in the past 6 years. His works would have spoken for him. I dont blame him though, Its complicated when you owe too many favours. |
