saintopus: You will surely live long my friend. I used to be a lone voice in many Nigerian fora along this line of reasoning. I have no doubt in my mind that the scam called Christianity and Islam will become exposed for what it is in less than ten yrs from now in Nigeria. Social media and greed of pastors will leave most Nigerians with no option but accept the truth. That nobody made the world in six days and there is no god who is going to put you through judgement after your sufferings in this hell called Nigeria. 2 Likes |

malvisguy212: Dude, you have turned the whole thing upside down. First of all the physical Israel is no longer God's chosen nation. They lost that position when they rejected Christ and put him to death. Physical Israel is not longer in the reckoning as far as God is concerned. There is a new spiritual Israel that has entered into a covenant which was validated by the blood of Christ. The said Gospel is still being preached and is not limited to the confines of Israel. It is a Gospel that is to be preached in all the Earth. God has chosen to make use of mortal men in preaching the good news, hence it should be expected that some time will pass before the task is complete. That the white men brought the so called Christianity does not mean that that was the true Gospel. Besides, what exactly is the Gospel. It is simply the teachings of Christ with special attention to God's coming Kingdom. How many of the teachings you hear today place emphasis on God's Kingdom. Virtually none. Instead what you hear is miracles and prosperity teachings. |

But to clear u of ur stupidity dear..let me play wt u a little: 7.When Christians were carrying out their crusades, crucifying and burning people at the stakes, no one totally classified them as terrorists. I hope u know more about ur religeon? 8.The military conquest of the land of Canaan by the Hebrews in about 1200 B.C.E. is often characterized as "genocide" and has all but become emblematic of biblical violence and intolerance. 9. I bet Ayo Orisejafor is the Imam behind the arms smuggling saga 10. And am sure those armunitions that was supposedly to be buy by the bling-loving 'pastor' was meant for 'holy communion'! Why did it take such years for the GOSPEL to reach Nigeria? What a question?!...thinking Should we blame God?...Absolutely NO!!! Who should we blame?...Man? I think YES, Man should be blamed. Here's my reason why I won't & will never blame God for the delay of the gospel. I know one thing for sure...that it cost God nothing to change every living human on earth into his own side, if HE can turn SAUL to PAUL. And guess what, everyone's heart is at his reach...BUT he won't pull everyone's to his own side. He want's Us all to make a our own choice. Here's the reason why I will blame we men for the delay. I Observe one thing when God met SAUL on his way to DAMASCUS to kill & destroy the GOSPEL...within a second God changed him. But GOD didn't preach to HIM, he had to send him to a place, to a man who will instill...lemme use teach or pass the GOSPEL into him. THIS WILL TAKE TIME...shabi? Saul no fit know all he knows in one day...he had to learn it. Even God in man(Jesus), while he was on earth had to wait to be trained, learn, filled with power and commissioned before He began His mission. I WILL SAY GOD WORKS IN HIS OWN WAYS & WITH HIS OWN TIME...GOD ways & things is mysterious to us. It's kinda slow and steady to us. BUT think about this...I blame men, because those who have receive the gospel early enough are STINGY!!! This does happen a lot and it slows down GOD'S GOSPEL...in jerusalem after Jesus ascension his disciples were stingy. They never want to leave jerusalem despite his instruction "You will receive power and you will be my witness through out the ends of the earth" But GOD had to scatter them using PERSECUTION...mind You Saul led this. Even after then, they still become stingy...that's why they face more persecution! In our present time, those who have receive the gospel were like this too...STINGY! God will create a circumstance/situation to push His gospel to the ends of the earth even if we no wan preach! The european have the gospel but they no wan bring am come here because they were scared...God create a circumstance/situation/situation(slavery) to bring it in. And maybe slavery is our own punishment for not going after the light. 1 Like |

The most ridiculous people here are those making fallacious circular arguments. Those that want to proof the existence of god or answer the question posed by ROSSKE by quoting the bible. It's like a Muslim trying to convince you that Islam is a religion of peace by quoting the quran to prove it. You need external validation not a book that is written to consolidate Christianity itself.....a book that is in the dock if you ask me. 4 Likes |

It took 2000 years because that's how long man delayed to bring the gospel God had already given to Africa. Someday, one may ask 'why did it take x years for God to save you?' The answer will be that's how long it took you to realize the truth of the gospel and act accordingly. |

ROSSIKE: You've actually made your point, which is trying to prove that there is no God. But that doesnt mean there is no God. That it took the gospel so long to get to Nigeria might just mean there were some resistance to the propagation of it to the area just like there are today. Today there are some countries that forbid the preaching of the gospel to their people. I believe it must have been like that centuries ago as well. God will not come down and force people to accept the gospel or preach by himself, that is how satan operates. God's ways are the opposite of satan's ways. That the gospel even reached here when it did must have been after a very long time of trying. |

The Holy Torah, Bible were all guides sent by God to aid humanity, but when the were corrupted, God then decided to send down the quran...And i have a question for everyone, Jesus Said a Being would come after him that he will come to redefine faith, but christians called him the Holy Spirit, that couldnt be seen instead of admitting it was Prophet Mohammed PBUH...God sent Human being all the while as prophets and preachers why the sudden change to Holy spirit then,Pastors now speak in tongue under the influence of Jinns and they say they are communicating with the spirit indeed... |

Its quite unfortunate that @ this age, stage and with your level of education, you still resort to our forefathers tactics of countering constructive arguements with insults, racist comments, religious bigoty and enthnocentric thoughts...I dropped a question,if you have no answer or cant criticize, you shut up but instead you call me a Nigger, probably u bleached so u feel white,go to Germany, then you will know we are both Niggers, its quite unfortunate that its people that think and act like you that are piloting affairs of this country,, I went to a catholic school.am very vast in the bible,am sure better than you,,i brought a simple food for thoughts but you start insulting cos u dont have sense...tell me what do pastors say when they are speaking in tongues,?? Have u encountered jinn spirit before?? Do you know the history of christianity?? Why are there so many versions of the bible?? This are many questions are what you should ask yourself, but you choose to blindly follow any religion....Even the europeans that brought chistianity to enslave us seldom go to church, ave been to england before,i witnessed their sunday services, turnouts are always low...they are christians @ hearts that why they are always progressing, but people like you are wicked @ heart and christians @ mouth, that why when someone makes a claim about ur religion, instead of investigating,u fire back..i dont have ur time brother,,go and garner knowledge den come back so we argue constructively |
