I got mine yesterday. I it and tested it without sim card, it was working. I off it and insert my sim card and on it. Then started tested the phone until when sreen saver turn to sleep. I try pressing the power button to display the screen again but to no avail. I press the power button to switch it off but did work. Right now I can not use the power button to on or off the phone. If I remove the the battery and insert it back, it switch on automatically without one pressing the power button. Pls what will be possible cause of this and how can I solve it.

It took them 3days to get it to Warri, I wasn't informed so I went to their office 5days later to get it. No, I didn't get the 500mb. Your imei must be tweaked/valid before it can be activated.

call or no call the most important thing is that you've gotten your phone in peace and working in perfect condition,some people oders have not been verified sef or talk of shipping it out

Contact them on Facebook or Twitter, ask for there nearest pick up point, go there and drop it but make sure u inform them on Twitter or Facebook first, u can also call the number on there website... Good luck with it

I text DATA to 8186 in order to activate several times and I kept getting the message “the device imei 3536xxxxxx3928 is invalid.” At times it gave me false hope by returning the message “You have a pending request, please wait for confirmation” but to no avail.
I bought three pcs of Infinix hot during the Konga 12-12 shopping festival; till date none of them had been activated. I emailed Etisalat customer care and they told me to supply them with the following details for each of the phones: Etisalat Mobile Number, Device IMEI, Device Type, Device Offer, Error Messages, Channel of Purchase and attach a scanned copy of the receipt.
I did all that accurately and they informed me that they are carrying out an investigation and that they would reply me within 24 hours. No response till date.
That was how MTN, Innjoo and Jumia deceived Nigerians that they would provide free data for some Innjoo phones bought at Jumia. I bought two pcs of Innjoo i1s back then, did all the necessary texting and emailing to no avail.
Why do these reputable establishments and service providers have to use deceptive tactics in order to sell their products? They should realize Nigerians would still patronize their products even if they don’t scoop so low. In more civilized societies they would be held to account.

Imagine! So who pinned the Etisalat sticker on the box of Infinix Hot stating that they were allocating 500MB free data on activation along with other goodies? I think the Nigerian Ombudsman/Consumer Protection Agencies should start looking into these scams.
