Good day house. I intend to acquire a TOKUMBO 2015 TOYOTA RAV4 by second week of next month.
But there are few things I need clarification on please.

1. What's the average (considerable) mileage I should look out for to ensure the car hasn't been driven excessively

2. I checked Google to appreciate pictures of the car and I noticed it's got the xle, le, hybrid and white. What's the difference between these?

3. Is there any other additional crucial things I should look out for to ensure I enjoy the ride?

PS: I am a complete novice when it comes to car details and I won't want to be cheated cos this would be my first car.

Not that you should not be worried about mileage. Some brand new vehicles, could have motorway mileage (high).
If you are buying a 2015 model, might be best to weigh the option and costing of a brand new model against used variants.

Are u for real? Are u sure u are talking about a brand new Toyota rav 4 or KIA sportage? Even it will be hard to get a used 2014 rav 4 for 3 million and u want a brand new 2015 model for 3.7 million lol. U sure say no be for olx u see that car? Mind u, a brand new rav 4 goes between 7 - 8.5 million depending on the trim.

BRAND NEW 2014 RAV 4 sells for 8.7 million naira.

What model year are you interested in. definitely not a current model.

After reading @abatically comment, I contacted the agent to really confirm what model the Rav4 is. He's now saying that the pic I showed him of the model I wanted is a 2008 model. Attached is the picture I got off Google and sent him.
Please is this truly a 2008 model?

My brother that design model year starts from 2006 I think upto 2010, now what I want you to do is go to in the fields available pick toyota Rav4 and choose min year 2006 and max year 2008 search with the result I am sure you will think twice before making the purchase.

Owerri will not give you high grade cars. Rather overpriced junk.

Is there nobody close to you who can assist you get what you want from a place like Lagos ? Whatever you are buying, see it yourself before paying..

I have a feeling OP might be swindled by this agent of his. The first good step he's taken is coming on this forum to verify the possibility of such transaction. The onus is on him to either heed to the various advise he's been given herein, or proceed with the transaction & bear the consequences of such action.

However, I feel the same energy he has exerted to uncover some of the information he ordinarily would not have known should also be channelled to reading through other websites (including the ones already provided in this thread as well as autos section of Nairaland) in other to compare prices of those vehicles he has in mind. This will offer a first hand experience and knowledge before he jumps to accept an offer that looks to good to be false.

More importantly, the agent might get such cars at ridiculous prices because they are stolen cars. So, it is not just enough to see the car prior to payment but you need to be smart and verify that it's a genuine transaction.

In addition, just googling the price of a particular model of vehicle will provide you with the dollar equivalent of such cars. A simple conversion to the current Naira/dollar exchange gives you an idea of the cost of such cars in Europe, America or any of the country of manufacture.

The agent is sharpening his matchet to butcher the op's money. Thank God Op came here. She would have been crying by now.

The least price you can get the Toks 2008 model is 2.6M, and that's cutting very close!

2M is definitely a scam or Nigerian used variant!
