Who should release the report to Nigerian public?

The Senate Committee On Finance or the Finance Minister?

Are you conversant with Senate probe on this very matter?

Let me quote Dr Bukola Saraki for you on this very matter.

“I can say on behalf of the committee that these media reports bear no correlation to the content of the Senate committee report and I would urge the public to disregard it in its entirety.

“The committee is yet to receive the report on the forensic audit and independent analysis on the subject clearly indicated we have a lot of grounds to cover in order to determine the level of culpability or otherwise of agency on the alleged non-committal.

“Therefore, to suggest any clearance for anybody at this stage is out of the question. I will further advise that the media should wait for the Senate to release the details of the committee report to the public before they jump into spurious conclusions.”

Ngwake, stop shooting yourself on the foot please! And stop derailing the thread!

According to your post, the NA committee has not received the forensic audit report. from who or where? Is it not from the same PWC engaged by the FG? Why have they not submitted the report is now the question.

Should Nigerians be asking PWC or the FG for the report? I need only a yes or no answer.

I still stand on my first comment on this very subject and it is the most valid statement ever.

Every other political talk is just an attempt on misplaced responsibility.

Ngwakwe:
It is the National Assembly that needs to release a comprehensive report on the said scandal and not the Executive.

Hon. Aminu Tambuwal, Sen. David Mark and NASS owe Nigerians that duty and we are still expecting their report as part of their oversight functions.

The Executive is not expected to present an unbiased report in a scandal involving an agency under it hence the call by Lai Mohammed shows the depth of his mental capacity and bias.

There are three branches of government in a democracy and they are responsible for checking the excesses of each other.

Quoting the words of Senator Bukola Saraki on the $20 billion scandal "Let's allow the Senate to finish their job to avoid what happened to Nuhu Ribadu's committee report from repeating itself" end of quote.

No

We should wait for Senate Committee On Finance for unbiased report where indictment for wrongdoing will be placed on guilty parties while innocent parties should be absolved.

See the flaws in your argument.

1. When NOI announced in April that PwC was commissioned to carry out the forensic audit she was not talking to Senators but the general public.
Therefore, Nigerians have a right to ask and see this report.

2. Investigations have shown that the Gov't is denying that the report has been submitted to it by PwC. However same investigation have also shown that the report is with the Gov't already.
Why is the GEJ Gov't denying possession of the report if they have nothing to hide?

The presentations on this thread has no political connotation rather quotations/ financial plan for project execution based on imaginary mismanagement.

Dr Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is trying to protect her dignity in the court of public opinion and more also the allegations by Mallam Sanusi has to do with NNPC illegally holding back money belonging to Federation Account.

Then to your question proper. Has Dr Iweala reneged on her promise? Or Is the opposition trying to search for campaign topic?

Target time for submission of the report by PwC to the Executive is November 2014 and her decision to make it public is on her terms but whether it was delivered by PwC on the said date is another matter.

Have you read any news (foreign or local) indicating that PwC has submitted the report?

Stop the obsession with the Executive and pressure your elected legislature to do their job.

In this matter the principle of checks and balance require the NASS to deliver an unbiased report to Nigerian people than report of internal reconciliation by Executive branch.

What is wrong with waiting for Senate Committee on Finance report?

For goodness sake, it was iweala that promised Nigerians that the report will be ready by November and you are here talking about letting legislators do a job that PWC has been paid to do.

You're always welcome.

Before I finish with you,

These are the questions you failed to answer

1. If an earlier PwC report has absolved NNPC of wrongdoing, why was PwC commissioned to do another forensic audit? Is that not a waste of tax payers money?

2. NOI announced the audit by PwC to the general public in April and confirmed it will be complete by November. Why can't Nigerians ask for the report in December? Public office is a contract with the people.

3. I showed you link proving that the PwC audit report has been submitted to the FG. Why is the FG denying possession of the said report?

4. How is this thread irrelevant to the Politics section or the current political happenings in Nigeria?

You have categorically failed to answer these questions thinking you can derail the thread.

This operates on the high-speed line between Taipei and Kaohsiung in Taiwan. The train entered into service with Taiwan High Speed Rail in January 2007.
It operates at a speed of 300kmph reducing the journey time between the two cities from four hours to just 90 minutes.
It was constructed by Kawasaki, Hitachi and Nippon Sharyo. Based on Kawasaki's 700 series Shinkansen trains, the 700T was the first Taiwanese rolling stock to import Japanese high speed rail technology.

I am a busy but let me answer some of your questions

The earlier PwC audit report justifying NNPC got to do with crude export figures
According to PwC and I quote: "The firm faulted Sanusi (CBN) on the ground of double counting and narrow coverage of revenue statistics, even as it noted that the CBN did not question production figures, which could have provided basis for the allegation of missing billions of naira.

The report faulted the statistics used by the CBN governor on the ground that the correct data was domiciled with the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) and that statistics provided by a unit of the CBN did not tally with the data from the DPR.

Sanusi's allegation against PwC previous Audit and report
Investigation: “Now in investigation and trying to understand where those leakages were, our attention was drawn to a huge difference between what appeared to be export of crude made by NNPC and amount repatriated into the crude equity account of the Federal Government.

Sanusi to my understanding is questioning total crude export made by NNPC and what sales data Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) has for which PwC used for their Audit.
