Ngwakwe: Ngwake, stop shooting yourself on the foot please! And stop derailing the thread! According to your post, the NA committee has not received the forensic audit report. from who or where? Is it not from the same PWC engaged by the FG? Why have they not submitted the report is now the question. Should Nigerians be asking PWC or the FG for the report? I need only a yes or no answer. 5 Likes |

I still stand on my first comment on this very subject and it is the most valid statement ever. Every other political talk is just an attempt on misplaced responsibility. Ngwakwe: |

The one we're now asking for if the one the MOF herself instituted, after admitting $10b is missing.Time is due n well past she promised to make it public,WHERE IS THE REPORT? 7 Likes |

Ngwakwe: See the flaws in your argument. 1. When NOI announced in April that PwC was commissioned to carry out the forensic audit she was not talking to Senators but the general public. Therefore, Nigerians have a right to ask and see this report. 2. Investigations have shown that the Gov't is denying that the report has been submitted to it by PwC. However same investigation have also shown that the report is with the Gov't already. Why is the GEJ Gov't denying possession of the report if they have nothing to hide? http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/173866-nigerian-govt-suppressing-audit-report-missing-20-billion-oil-money-apc.html Please stay on topic. LRNZH: No thread is irrelevant and certainly not this one The presentations on this thread has no political connotation rather quotations/ financial plan for project execution based on imaginary mismanagement. Remember, I haven't absolved the NNPC of any wrongdoing based on Sanusi's revelations |
Re: PHOTOS: 10 Billion US Dollars- A Case For The Hidden PwC Audit Report. by LRNZH(m): 8:39am On Dec 30, 2014 |
Ngwakwe: NOI adilmitted that at least 10.9 Billion US Dollars is missing from NNPC. SLS was sacked even though he was the one who pointed it out. I showed what has been achieved elsewhere with less than 10 Billion US Dollars . And you say it has no political relevance with elections in view? Are you joking? Seun come and read your mod's logic Meanwhile less politically relevant topics make FP all time. 4 Likes |

LRNZH: Dr Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is trying to protect her dignity in the court of public opinion and more also the allegations by Mallam Sanusi has to do with NNPC illegally holding back money belonging to Federation Account. Then to your question proper. Has Dr Iweala reneged on her promise? Or Is the opposition trying to search for campaign topic? Target time for submission of the report by PwC to the Executive is November 2014 and her decision to make it public is on her terms but whether it was delivered by PwC on the said date is another matter. Have you read any news (foreign or local) indicating that PwC has submitted the report? |
Re: PHOTOS: 10 Billion US Dollars- A Case For The Hidden PwC Audit Report. by LRNZH(m): 8:56am On Dec 30, 2014 |
Ngwakwe: NOI can't tell the general public that the report will be ready in November and then deny not having it after it has been submitted to her by PwC. It means you didn't check the link I posted earlier. Here's it is again: http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/173866-nigerian-govt-suppressing-audit-report-missing-20-billion-oil-money-apc.html Dude this is a FP thread and you know it! LRNZH: Stop the obsession with the Executive and pressure your elected legislature to do their job. In this matter the principle of checks and balance require the NASS to deliver an unbiased report to Nigerian people than report of internal reconciliation by Executive branch. What is wrong with waiting for Senate Committee on Finance report? 1 Like |

Ngwakwe: Come out and categorically state it. You're saying Nigerians should not ask for the report even though investigations have shown that it has been submitted to PwC. I am shocked. We are asking everyone, Legislature and Executive unless you don't think Nairaland is an avenue to raise awareness on pertinent national issues. In that case you're not qualified to be a mod. 10 Likes 1 Share |

It is a pity you allowed your biased pocket to becloud your sense of reasoning, dignity, honesty and probity. For goodness sake, it was iweala that promised Nigerians that the report will be ready by November and you are here talking about letting legislators do a job that PWC has been paid to do. Honestly i don't know how Seun arrived at such a dishonest and confused man like becoming a mod here. Give it up. Ngwakwe: 9 Likes |

Ngwakwe: You're always welcome. Before I finish with you, These are the questions you failed to answer 1. If an earlier PwC report has absolved NNPC of wrongdoing, why was PwC commissioned to do another forensic audit? Is that not a waste of tax payers money? 2. NOI announced the audit by PwC to the general public in April and confirmed it will be complete by November. Why can't Nigerians ask for the report in December? Public office is a contract with the people. 3. I showed you link proving that the PwC audit report has been submitted to the FG. Why is the FG denying possession of the said report? 4. How is this thread irrelevant to the Politics section or the current political happenings in Nigeria? You have categorically failed to answer these questions thinking you can derail the thread. 4 Likes |

LRNZH: I am a busy but let me answer some of your questions The earlier PwC audit report justifying NNPC got to do with crude export figures According to PwC and I quote: "The firm faulted Sanusi (CBN) on the ground of double counting and narrow coverage of revenue statistics, even as it noted that the CBN did not question production figures, which could have provided basis for the allegation of missing billions of naira. The report faulted the statistics used by the CBN governor on the ground that the correct data was domiciled with the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) and that statistics provided by a unit of the CBN did not tally with the data from the DPR. Sanusi's allegation against PwC previous Audit and report Investigation: “Now in investigation and trying to understand where those leakages were, our attention was drawn to a huge difference between what appeared to be export of crude made by NNPC and amount repatriated into the crude equity account of the Federal Government. Sanusi to my understanding is questioning total crude export made by NNPC and what sales data Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) has for which PwC used for their Audit. |

Ngwakwe: Have you heard of Occam's Razor? Occam's Razor: The principle states that among competing hypotheses, the one with the fewest assumptions should be selected. Other, more complicated solutions may ultimately prove correct, but—in the absence of certainty—the fewer assumptions that are made, the better. aka Keep It Simple Stupid (KISS) Save us all these long stories that don't make sense. 3 Likes |
