Well, now we can put aside the word MISSING, so far the plane debris and some passengers has been found. Atleast "a dead son is better than a missing/lost son" cox there wont be any false hope on recovery again. They can bury their dead now which is something relieving than not seeing the bodies.
I commiserated with the families of the victims.

Lesson to learn
BTW, this is something we should see as role model, those people aint shouting "it's the president fault". We shouldn't blame the head of state for whatever happen when he is not the one ruling the affair.
Secondly, according to what i read, AirAsia has a CLEAN safety record, but, how come Nigeria isn't? We have to take a clue from them here, the Safety of our passengers(both air,land and sea) should be paramount. NCAA una don hear me?

Aviation industry needs to step up its game. If I can find my Sony Xperia z with accuracy of two Inches, why should should a 30000 pound plane take 2 days to fund. In an accident every second counts.

This is really sad. first Malaysia now Indonesia. Why don't the planes have some sort of monitoring device linked to the satellites orbiting our space to monitor its location and movement in real time. My heart goes out to their grieving friends and relatives. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.

like the military, civilian aircraft designs should include ejectable compartments for passengers in times of distress..This should go a long way in reducing fatalities arising from air mishaps.

If it were Nigerian journalists, they would have photographed the corpses and published them. We treat our dead with no respect, are we animals? Or is it overpopulation and high fatality rates that make us treat death so casually. See people in this thread making callous jokes. I don't understand.

What a tragic year 2014 has been. Missing plane, plane shot down by rebels, many famous actors/actress died, and now thisone....death everywhere. May the good Lord keep us for the rest of the year.

God, only you know why this have to happened. No one can query you. But dear Lord, can you help to console all the families & friends of the dead, give them the strength to bear this loss, as this will be very difficult for them now, and please can you continue to keep your watch on all the saints and also,...... help us in choosing a better leader for our dear country (Nigeria) next year. Let it be a violent & rigging free election, in Jesus mighty name I pray.
