Please help me.....I bought a new jack (actuator), b4 nd afta fixing, it keeps writing E2...d jack moves nd stop (E2), move again and stop and so on.......please house wht can I do?

If you get actuator error messages,the problem could be you have the motor power wires backward. If this is the case the reason you are getting this warning is when you press the remote button to move the actuator it should extend, but you have the wires backwards so it tries to retract instead and a new actuator is already retracted as far as it can go so it displays jack error.

To determine if this is the problem, push the button to go the opposite direction and see if the actuator moves. If it does move with out error then move it back where it was and switch the actuator motor power wires (M1 & M2) either on the terminal strip on the back of your motorizer or at the motor terminal strip but not both places.

If the directions above did not help then check the sensor wires and connections.

Blexxonmack nice job bro. guess what happened to me while adjusting my motorised 1.8m pan dish to accommodate an extra Ku lnb to my IRIB.. my brother after like almost using close to a whole day IRIB refused to align with d ku. Was able to align all d KU's perfectly but IRIB jus refused totally to fall in line. Tried all the tricks no way. what do u think went wrong?

E2 message:if sensor wires are connected properly,then E2:actuator tube is not moving freely either it is bent sideways or it is having some resistance! actuator should be mounted straight..and the inner tube oiled before mounting!

on a motorised dish! with multi lnb(s) set up! all lnb should be placed on a straight line!Ref:at 0° or on thor at1west, if standing at the back of the dish!satellite dish should be able to bend slightly sideways to the left,then all other sat will fall in line!

My actuator moves up freely (on load nd no load) but sometime write E2 .....but wen comin down d messg always pops up xcept of some VERY occasion wen it moves freely

E2 message is not supposed to show up! if jack is not on load, that is if sensor wires is connected!it means the tube is faulty or motor is not balanced!either way you have a faulty jack..

Alright, but presently d decoder doesnt display on d screen so it wil b hard 4me to get it.

Currently they are analogue, digital will give better pictures and reduced relay time, it will also make pay tv cheaper meaning more FTAs.
