Thanks for your response, Please are students asked to pay their entire one year tuition before they are allowed to resume or they are allowed to spread their tuition in 12 months, unlike UK on your resumption you are to pay your entire fees... If for some reasons you are unable to continue your studies are you allowed to defer or something and continue later?

As far as I know, UK makes you pay per semester at least and gives you a deadline to make each semester's fee. In my school, it is the same. But i think there is less pressure on school fees if you miss the deadline. However, my school adds a monthly interest rate on the school fees if you do not pay. It might be different for some other schools.

Good day my people
I think the good news should start falling in from tomorrow..
Please house,
1 Is it a must I get a study leave frm my company? I'm just 4months old in the company. I honestly don't want the company to know about this.

2. My salary acct is also 4months old since I'm new in the company, wht do I do in this case?

3 I'm taking a complete U-turn from B.sc Biological Science to PGD Human Resources, I know less to nothing about HR, how do I justify this?

I intend to submit ma application 2nd week in january.

Hi, i honestly don't think the study leave is necessary. My reason is that it is a trial, a what if. I do not think the VO would expect you to put your self at risk cos if you don't get the visa, the company already knows you are planning to leave them. what my friend did was to tell HR that she was going for a holiday and got the necessary letters for visa for someone going on holiday and she applied with that and got her visa although she also had a spouse in Nigeria which she left behind so i guess that made her case more solid. As per your course, I hope someone else helps you out here. hope you have a sponsor?

@futurewiser... I already gained admission into UPEI for my UG studies...UPEI does not allow payment with your credit card, you have to wire transfer the money to them..

Please how do i wire transfer it? Is their admission competitive? Do they accept NECO too and do they send admission letter with COURIER?

You actually got my point.. Since I can use my employment letter then I think I'm good to go... I pray I get it right this time cos 2011 still hurts..
The study leave actually plays a part by assuring the VO that you have something you coming back to in Nigeria;serves as a tie also.
Why are you going for PGD HR? You will have to prove why in your SOP.

I didn't show anything. Just the sponsor letter from my uncle with him simply stating I am his nephew and he is sponsoring me.

Thanks bro....but why do most people insist on providing proof of relationship then? It is not as if it is even required by CIC.......thanks bro...can I have a draft of that your sponsorship letter?

@tnuola. Please the email adress.

Just mail your school first about the delay and see what they'll say, you can't dictate to them what to do. Once you tell them , they'll know what do.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by mrnilobrawn: 8:22am On Dec 31, 2014
@tnuola, can you shear with us the email ad your school used in writen to the embassy, and was there any feedback from them?

By His grace, I will be leaving for Canada today with @tsola6

My prayer is with everyone awaiting medical requests: @tnuola @mrnilobrawn @warrikid @halimaah and the rest of you I couldn't mention. I pray that I read the much needed good news from you guys when next I log on. This wait shall not be in vain and the VO handling your applications will constantly have you all in mind until (s)he gives a positive feedback.

All the best guys.

Please how do i wire transfer it? Is their admission competitive? Do they accept NECO too and do they send admission letter with COURIER?

1. For the wire transfer you will need a domicillary account to do that, they shoulda sent you their account details which you will use in making payment in they mail you get from them

2. I can't say forsho if their admission is competitive but I got mine with ease, if I may ask, what are you going for UG or PG?

3. I don't know also if they accept NECO results cause I used my WAEC results but you can mail Joanne Mackinnon.

4. They send admission letter by courier and they also send you

Good day everyone, i am new to Nairaland. pls need urgent help asap. i applied online for study permit on Nov 08, 2014, did my biometrics on Nov 13, 2014 in accra. and it was stated that my biometrics has been received. but to my surprise on Dec 29, 2014, i log on to my account and noticed my biometrics is saying not yet needed. am so confused. i called the accra office and they weren't positive, they were saying they can't help and that i should contact the embassy. dont know how to go about that.

my school resumes january and am yet to be asked to submit my supporting documents. i actually thought online application will be faster.

please what do u guys advise? do i defer my admission? and if i do how to i contact CIC about that.

Relax your nerves man, the biometric issue on CIC account is a general problem.
But i will advise you to at least read this thread from the beginning and better still, from part 6.
There is a general processing and responses this period. A lot of peeps here are that submitted before you are yet to get response. So, while you wait, try and read through the thread and enjoy.
Happy New year in advance.
