AugustineAgain: I agree with some points, but I doubt Egypt can win a war against Algeria. The Algerians have a bigger budget and a more modern military. |

DieVluit:if you'd read btn the lines you would have seen the word 'economic' just b4 i said powerhouse. Powerhouse is a modern term used to describe the prowress of something in dominating others... When i say powerhouse, am not talking abt electricity. E.g. In a sentence u can say 'kenya is an athletics powerhouse' because of the fact that they usualy dominate in athletic sports events. My basis 4 saying economic powerhouse is bcoz these 3 countries have more money than the rest in there regions, so u wuld expect them not to appear anywea near the top of any aids ranking, or any desease 4 tht matter since more money should mean a more educated and informed public, it should mean more resources interms of quality hospitals, availability of condoms, more public awarenes abt aids and how its transmited, and how to avoid it. But ironicaly it isnt the case |

There is no single Nigerian oil company that is richer than SASOL. It even invest in the US. http://m.news24.com/fin24/Companies/Industrial/Sasol-to-build-81bn-US-ethane-cracker-20141027 |

mzilakazi: Thanks for proving me right, your own source above clearly says The plant is jointly owned by the Nigerian state energy company NNPC and Chevron. Sasol has ZERO shares in Chevron crude oil corporation, South Africa has ZERO percentage of Nigeria's oil industry, you CANNOT afford it, you are too poor . 1 Like |

AugustineAgain: You're stupidd you can't read. The source speaks about SASOL building GTL plant in Nigeria in collaboration with Chevron and NNPC. However, NNPC will only control 15% shares. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Escravos_GTL |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by AugustineAgain: 6:12pm On Dec 31, 2014 |
mzilakazi: Wikipedia is an unreliable source anybody can edit anytime. However, even your story is about construction of a gas processing and refining plant, is that the same as Sasol owning crude oil in Nigeria's land and oceans worth Trillions of dollars? Are you a maaadman ? Then Sasol invested in a construction project NOT a crude oil business, Dangote too is building refinery and does not own the oil or gas he is to refine. Your Wikipedia source also says Sasol South Africa is too poor to pay for it's approximately 35% shares in the gas plant building project so they vomited back their shares to Chevron and Sasol only got 10% peanuts....is that the same South African Sasol that you claim to own Nigeria's multi-trillion, not billion, MULTI-TRILLION dollar Nigerian oil business? Sasol does not even have money to match Dangote that is building and owning oil and gas refinery alone by himself. Keep wasting away your time, for the past 4 hours you are still super-glued to your laptop, sweating gasping panting looking through google searches to find non-existent sources to mislead your ANC hypnotized self that South Africa owns a big chunck of Nigerian oil industry....fool....Soweto born foooool . |

SASOL is the only one of the few experts of gas-to-liquid technology in the world. without it Nigeria is going nowhere. http://www.hydrocarbons-technology.com/projects/escravos/ |

Henry120:algeria has more war machines than personnels to operate them, that alone is a big disqualifier.egypt has more military numbers than algeria, with an overwhelming number of MBTs to boot. |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by EVarn(m): 8:23pm On Dec 31, 2014 |
AugustineAgain:indeed.but i doubt that egypt can ever effectively surround algeria, since they'd have to confront algeria on the mediterrenean sea;and we all know who and who govern that turf.as we know, algeria has the most sophisticated naval force in africa. |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust: 8:57pm On Dec 31, 2014 |
EVarn: In war, surrounding your enemy is not really surrounding his country, your target is his military force. All Egypt has to do is to surround every battalion, brigade, division/corp of Algerian forces that they meet on land, sea and air. 1.5 million soldiers, 30,000 tanks/IFV/LAV/missiles/ICBMs/artillery, 250 F-16 jets, 50 Apache Helicopter gunships, 50 fast missile crafts/corvettes/frigates/submarines, Egypt can surround any African military force from any African country. If Egypt wants war with me, I will ask for peace negotiations, why should I die before my time? . 1 Like |
