This trend started late last year and made its way into the 2014 fashion scene. Toolz was the ambassador of the knot wrapper. The trend was so popular, but it later fizzled out towards the middle of 2014

2. Crop Tops and Midi Pencil Skirts
This was another fashion trend that really rocked the Nigerian fashion scenes. It was a worldwide movement as the Kardashian sistuhs were the poster girls of crop tops and midi skirts. Simple and laid back. Its definitely going to make its way into year 2015

3. Monochrome
All white everythang! All black everythang.
This year 2014 was definitely great for the monochrome trend and I believe we would be seeing more variations of this trend in 2015.

4. Sheer Dresses
If sheer dresses doesn’t make this list then we aren’t in 2014 yet. Some celebs, in Nigeria, got insulted at first for daring to rock this look, but its been accepted totally now and its definitely not going anywhere soon. 2014 was indeed a ‘sheer-ful’ year

5. Prints
Usually the ankara materials was worn basically at weddings or thanksgiving in churches, but that changed as year 2014 saw ankara practically everywhere, runways and red carpets.

6. Starced shirts with jump up pants was a trend that was rocked mostly by the guys. There will still be plenty more of it come 2015
