Not crossover night but first year service which started around 10am and ended after 12. It's Dunamis international gospel centre in area 1garki and the name of the pastor is Dr Paul Eneche. Mind you he was very diplomatic about it but he passed the message.

This is lovely.... I don't even know how to quantify your Pastor.... in my book he is one of God's General. This is what many Pastors Christians look up to have not been able to say, even once through their various sermons.

Dont get me wrong. I have nothing against Buhari and of course I am not a fan of GEJ. But as a concern Nigerian, something tells me Buhari can fight corruption and insecurity but his competence to develop Nigeria is still very much in doubt.

Happy New Year bro.

That is what you should think about. Buhari can fight corruption and insecurity but GEJ has failed miserably in those areas. Those two areas alone are the most important thing to get rid of in Nigeria and everything else will just fall in place.

Unlike your pastor the Catholic Church don't indulge in politics

Fiery Enugu cleric and founder of Adoration Ministries, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka on Sunday called on Ndigbo to vote for President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 presidential elections.

Mbaka, who spoke while receiving First Lady Dame Goodluck Jonathan at the Adoration Ground Emene, near Enugu, proclaimed that those fighting Jonathan would meet their down fall, saying that Greatness comes from God.

The Roman Catholic Priest told the First Lady that APC posed no threat to her husband in Enugu, saying that people of the state view the opposition party as Boko Haram party.

GEJ is a nice guy that could do more for Nigeria but he is surrounded by detractors, bad people and he can't stand up to them. GEJ is just like that little kid in school that can't stand up to his bullies and gets away from being bullied by doing their homework and letting them copy from him in exam.
The detractors know very well they can't manipulate Buhari that's one of the reasons PDP are deeply concerned about Buhari.

I SO MUCH RESPECT MBAKA BECAUSE HE TELL THEM THE TRUTH, I HAVE LISTEN TO SOME OF PREACHING HE CALLED GOODLUCK BADLUCK IMMEDIATELY AFTER HE ANOUNCED THE REMOVAL OF SUBSID, HE EVEN SAID THE ECONOMIC POLITICS OF GOODLUCK HAD KILLED MORE THAN BOKO HARAM. YOU CAN GO AND LOOK FOR THE MESSEGE THAT WAS 2012 IMMEDIATELY AFTER HE REMOVED SUBSIDY.

that's the impression GEJ likes to give us. GEJ himself is the major problem. The people around him flock to him because they can tell the kind of person he is. With him, they know corruption and etcetera is acceptable.

Nigeria has got extremely intelligent and smart people all over. The lack of bright ideas has never been a problem in Nigeria. Rather, corruption by people surrounding the leadership never allows these bright ideas to actualise. 'Reduce' corruption and you will be shocked at how the nation would be transformed. I did not say 'eliminate' but just 'reduce.' If there is no room for blatant looting anymore, you will be shocked that the same corrupt individuals in our government today would automatically redirect their ingenuity from looting to positive development; yes! Nigerians can be that dynamic.

Furthermore, i think the PDP with their wealth of experience in the game would make a good opposition and any other party at the centre would be put on their toes.

As for Buhari and his percieved cluelessness, if he can deliver on his promise to 'reduce' corruption at the top, that would be just perfect. From his antecedents, GMB allows his deputies to function freely. Till date, most people still ascribe the successes of his previous leadership to his deputy (Idiagbon) so I think in terms of policies, our focus should be on the Prof.

The same thing happened in my church today even in the presence of the president himself.

Dunamis pastor Dr Paul Eneche said it is not about religion or tribe but who will do the right thing. He said God does not bordered about who you are but what you do, he said if you do the right things, God will not see you as an unbeliever but if you re believer and you did not do the right thing, God will turn his back against you. He then urge us to choose our leaders not by tribe or religion but those that will do the right thing is who we should vote for. Mr president was so uncomfortable on his seat but his mother was more reactive to the message.
I was so happy in the church today and my pastor earned a great respect from me.
Infact the pastor asked us to pray for him to do the right thing during the election.

The famous Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka of Adoration Ministry Enugu at the cross over crusade 2014 yesterday 31st December, advised the Adoration crowd and indeed all christians not to vote for President Jonathan because according to Fr Mbaka, Nigeria is too big for president Jonathan to handle. We wrongly thought his name Goodluck will translate to Goodluck for Nigeria, not knowing he has nothing desirable to offer Nigeria. He highlighted economic mismanagement, institutionalised corruption, Insecurity and religious/tribal discord which have all increased so so much under Jonathan. Fr Mbaka showed so much pity for the Soldiers convicted for mutiny, laying curses on those top military Officials who poorly equip junior ones and force them to fight well equipped Insurgents like that. He concluded by saying that Jonathan has failed and it will be a top national disaster to re-elect him. And that people especially Indigbo should vote for other credible presidential candidates than President Jonathan without sentiments. Igbo people remain part of Nigeria and should work for the good of the country as far as Nigeria remains one.

That's what a pastor should say. It places him in a neutral position and doesn't translate to mean that he's urging Christians not to vote for GEJ. If you look at it in that direction, you could also interpret it to mean that he's urging muslims and northerners not to vote for GMB.

The pastor just placed himself in a neutral position.

Well said..dnt expect GEJ to get uncomfortable if he is not in cahoot wt those that play those religious tunes expectin us to dance to it! Do not doubt the OP at all. I was there just as former governor byelsa state Silver, one governorship aspirant from Ebonyi state and Okey Ezie(Ideke). Outside politcs was Uchebo among others. Before you start saying his message was politically motivated, mind you it came as a shock to all cause he was a fan of GEJ but said he could not merchandise his spiritual call for any material gain. Those politicians present received no preferential treatment as he accuse of coming when they needs votes from people.

@op, do you think a clergy who speaks against the leader is doing the right thing? Last time I checked, the Bible says pray for those in authority. I've heard about that man and I doubt he will stoop that low to go against what the Bible says.
