stoke are used to their own horrible weather - this is why they always hit it long. stoke can't really play on the ground - their approach is to be physical & put ball in the air. jones & evans are the players you expect to take over from rio & vidic but they have been utterly worthless to us.

smalling was our MOTM today - he did reasonably well against crouch. we all saw his crouch murdered arsenal few weeks ago. playing stoke is difficult but everyone already knows what to expect - why was evans letting the ball bounce if he has any common sense?

Draws wont take us anywhere. Better we lose one and win the other.

Btw, some of our players like Rooney and Carrick should be rested.

I disagree. Everybody was piss poor today,including the coaching crew.
I saw Falcao pull out of tackles lots of times and as usual his first touch was poor.

he was poor before the goal!
he scored and his confidence got back. he held up play very well & he was starting to enjoy the game when LVG pulled him off. it was a dumb substitution in my opinion.

Save for the goal in a crowded box,I don't think he did much,henve the substitution.

it's better we scrap points here & there till we get our summer signings back on the pitch. not too many teams will win at stoke & spurs. i think we have done reasonably well in the festive period.

Our 0-0 draw with Spurs does not look such a bad result in hind sight. but we need to start winning away games. Our strikers need to do what they are paid for and stick balls in the damn net.
Look at the goal by the young Spurs attacker Harry Kane. That kid has got potential to be a top striker. His movement alwayd puts defenders into confusion. He has made John Terry and Cahill look very ordinary today

Young lacks good positioning like Valencia. He wasn't that splendid today, if he played on the left wing we could've won, maybe.

Evans is an a22wipe! He makes mistakes every 60 minutes. Did you see the way he stupidly lost possession to Diouf? and even got beaten too!! If we'd fallen 2-0 behind by half time, I don't think we'd ve managed a draw.

If our defenders aren't stupiiid and naive, we'd have conceded 5 goals less than chelsea. Goals scored against Man Utd sometimes are laughable

I'm glad you can say that. I know some decisions from our manager & some performances could have been better but we should give our team a lot of credit... LvG dealing with injuries while fighting with team chemistry, its not as easy as typing on a keyboard
