After a thorough review of the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan from 2010 till date, a coalition of South-East groups on Wednesday threatened to withhold their support for him, accusing him of taking Ndigbo for granted.

Rising from a closed door meeting in Enugu where they reviewed the political situation in the country as it affects the South-East and the 2015 elections, the groups said they were yet to see genuine reasons why the zone should support President Jonathan for another term in office.

Those present at the meeting included representatives of the Igbo Leaders Council, Umuada Ala Igbo, Igbo Women Assembly, Igbo Students' Association, Igbo Youth Movement, South-East Self Determination Coalition and Eastern Christian Council.

They rhetorically asked those clamouring for Jonathan's re-election to explain why railway, which is one of the President's major achievement, was yet to work in the South-East.

my take is that the igbos should not vote anyone comes this general election.there should concentrate im electing governors, senators and reps members with good intent of developing the east.
there are not gonna get any meaningful thing from either GEJ or GMB even though GMB may effect a better atmosphere in Nig as a whole than GEJ.

here in ogbia bayelsa state ...GEJ own LGA has no light since february 2014. call anyone and ask, no access road, everyone here is struggling yet the first oil well in Nig is located in this Ogbia (Oloibiri)

Ibo people are too tribalistic to actually see that the clueless one does and will never care about the east. He does not see them as his brothers even though they worship the ground he steps on. Where is the development he has brought to the East? No 2nd Niger bridge... Even the railway they are praising isn't in the East.
Please open your eyes and remove that block of wood on your eyes. If you can truly say your situation has improved since GEJ came to power, please vote for him. If otherwise, GMB has come to save all of us.
