more people speak the american english than the british english. america has 5 times the number of people in britain and i haven't even included canada.

your oräl english needs UN if you dunno ate = eight in 2014. just because your oral english in WAEC was tailored to suit the british english does not discredit the north american english speakers. both versions are 100% correct.
