The Rooivalk is in the top 7 of the world's attack helicopters
www.military-today.com/helicopters/top_9_attack_helicopters.htm
your link isnt worth my treasured time.that article is the opinion of an enthusiatic know-it-all blogger, therefore,it barely carries any weight.but objectively speaking, even the writer was enlightened enough to expose the fact that:"this aircraft{rooivalk} was designed to operate without sophisticated support",it also went ahead to reveal the juicy 'gossip' that: "only 11 of this aircraft{rooivalk} are operational due to lack of funds".the article even hinted that the rooivalk was an old, overpriced but fairly manageable attack helicopter, with inferior capacity to any modern day helo.so i guess its "lol"
NB: even according to the presumptious article, the rooivalk isnt "in the top 7",it is the 7th.

Hatch, window, door whatever, Your self acclaimed bad-germ cannon cannot fire forward with that hatch open grin

The Bad-germ will be called the mechanical Ebola plaguing south Africa because of the high number of casualties it will suffer.
remember its a one time use only..... send off to the field: failure guaranteed! grin

But why would the driver hatch be open during combat?

Your debate view is very weak

Moving target, does no Badger always drives and never stops? Fuel is unlimited?

AGL with 2km range does not need direct hit, a hit on turret will splinter on the camera and smash it.

Sniper with anti-material rifle, AGL, and high caliber sniper ammo rifle, all these can range about 2 km away and shatter the Bad-ger's over-exposed camera eye, one-eyed Bad-ger
.

Fool

Why does a combat IFV make a stop and fuel in enemy territory?

Your ignorance keeps exposing itself

Nope, quote where I said Bad-ger with Bad-design can resist 30mm AP shells.

I said basic Bad-ger IFV can only resist small arms like the basic BTR-4

The extra armour on Bad-Bad-ger is at the bottom underneath chassis, trying to make an IFV look like an MRAP .

Boko Haram machine gun will penetrate Bad-ger armour and k.ill ALL the 10 soldiers inside it gringringrin

.

Yet 3 RPG rockets fired by Taliban failed to penetrate that armor.

A simple 1kg of TNT planted by BH would blow your BTR with all your poorly paid troops to a million pieces

Thus was the same Patria that you guys claimed was the same as your bad-germ....... if you say that the Patria is soft skinned then this means that the Bad-germ which was copied from the Patria is also soft skinned.

Nah!! Patria was made to have such kind of an armour so as to help it remain afloat in water. Yet, Patria prevailed in all attacks carried out by the terrorists armed with heavy anti tank weapons. Badger has more heavy skin so as to fulfill all the requirements of SANDF.

Nigerian BTR-4E(s) happened to pop up during conservation, interesting what was revealed by people who follow world arms sales.

Such systems have been deployed to the battlefield and were successful.

BTR-4 camera is shielded from snipers, so we will have it, Bad-ger will lose it's over exposed over head position camera and left with the prison hole window, Badger is blinded like a street begger

The Rooivalk was jointly in combat side by side with Mi-35 Hind against M23, so what?

NAF has the best high-tech 2014 Russian version Mi-35 on planet earth
.
The hinds were ineffective. They have to make strafing runs.

During th battle of Kibati they were deployed alone, before the Rooivalk arrived.

In December 2012 they were deployed against M23 advancing on Goma, ineffective they were as M23 swiftly captured the city.

Stop wasting your time Southies, NAF Mi-35 Super Hind upgrade done in Ukraine shocked shocked

Nigeria gets from Ukraine Mi-24 helicopters :

"Following the purchase of T-72AV and BTR-4E from the Ukraine in 2014, Nigeria, apparently acquires former Ukrainian Mi-24 combat helicopters.

Nigerian web resource beegeagle. 2 January 2015 published a picture of the two Nigeria Air Force modernization Super Hind Mk III -Mi-24 combat helicopters.

Serial works on modernization of the Mi-24 Super Hind options are carried out on contract by the Ukrainian State Enterprise “Konotop Aircraft Repair Plant” Aviacon “(Konotop, Sumy region). In 1999-2004, Konotop factory for the Algerian Air Force, upgraded 33 former Ukrainian Mi-24V to the Super Hind Mk III version, and in 2010-2011 – for the Azerbaijani Air Force 12 former Ukrainian Mi-24K to the Super Hind Mk IV (upgraded Azerbaijani helicopters received the designation Mi-24G).

Two Mi-24 passing upgrading to Super Hind version , were seen in the factory floor of “Aviacon” Ukraine on October 16, 2014"

I have always said it for the past two years on this blog, that Nigeria has a defense pact with Ukraine for any emergency weapons supply.

Watch out for Nigerian army T-84 Oplot-M tanks and more BTR-4E different versions, info says we ordered one battalion of BTR-4E
.
The Super hind upgrade is only offered in SA. The Denel Argos pod is visible, looks like the 550.

A mechanised battalion is less than 100 vehicles.

Ukraine equipment meant to be delivered to some countries like the DRC are being used in ATO. What is delivered is mostly from rejected stocks
