When I was born I was not aware of where , when or how i was born , my parents told me the story

That said , I collected a local government birth cert a few years ago and local govt identification. My parents didn't do it for me , neither did I ask for it until it was needed , my point being most people don't collect certs unless they need it. Muurfucka
birth certificate is excusable. If u don't have, u swear an affidavit. But not same with senior school certificate. U go to d secondary school yourself, sit for it, and when then result is out, it will be ISSUED to you. and you then use the certificate to do other things like further your studies or look for job.
But buhari did not sit for d exam and wasn't issued the certificate. Ahmadu bello just picked him and other fulani nomads and pushed them all into the army, and everybody was like 'ranka dede', but no more. He has to produce his school cert, which is a constitution minimum requirement for post of presidency

If INEC clears him on basis of non-existent certificate, the legal battle will start. This fraud has to end somehow. Nigeria is not anybody's personal estate.

Na TAN is too politically one sided. All we want is what the constitution demanded. We know that back in the day nobody was checking, but this is the first step to get Nigerians involved with the system. We have to be the change before the leaders change. the army spokesman never said the board was in possession of any officer's certificate. Try and read the news report all over again. He said that the board was in possession of the ''records'' of serving and retired officers. Records do not necessarily mean certificates.

He should atleast show us his FSLC and WASSCE. Is that too much to ask. It is either he is an illitrate or he is mocking the Nigerians. If he is a comedian please tell him to wake up that election is 6 weeks away else he will be left behind.

None of his training were self sponsored. They were professional training organised N paid for by the Nigeria Army with tax payers money.

To even bring the issue as a campaign topic smack of ignorance and stupidity by PDP. When all the trainings he attended were entirely for his command and staff duties as a soldier.

When the PDP has nothing to campaign with after 16years of bein in charge rather than this kind of dull gist then the citizenry should be worried.

A good party that have stay for 16years should be telling the populace what it has done over the years and why those development needs to be continued if it believe it has done creditably well.

Well... the brigadier said he had seen records of older and retired generals and that he was in no doubt that general Buhari's were in tact.
He actually did not say he had seen Buhari's records. So we really are at the same place we were before (with claims that his records exist but no one actually seeing it).
So the Brigadier just retold the problem. Everyone's records are supposed to be there and that is the reason why he saw records of older and retired generals

But if you ask me, going by what I have seen in Nigerian public institutions, it is also possible someone misplaced it some time ago. It still doesn't change the fact that we need to see the records records

birth certificate is excusable because u font any control over it. When u grow up and your parents give u d certificate, fine, else u get affidavit. But school cert, u write it yourself, at the age of 17 or 18. Of course I know about about ahmadu bello's plan to islamise nigeria. In a situation where a kid is raised by an orphanage , a sworn affidavit does not actually reflect his true age so its not excuseable

In recent history, APC have been playing a combination of Maradona and Chessmaster into the hearts of Nigerians. The present GMB certificate saga is another one of such political gimmick that will be dispelled at the right time before the election,just appropriate enough to prevent these TANmites recover from the shock.So jump ship and join the CHANGEtrain while you still can.
