so valencia, young, rafael & shaw are all injured? at this rate, giggs & van gaal would have to play wingback position for us.

Like seriously?
Titus Bramble....

Yes...
There was only ONE direction to hit that ball to - it doesn't particularly take genius to figure that out. The one who should be getting the greater kudos after the goalscorer is the person that cushioned 'perfectly' that ball onto Rooney's boot. I doubt if the roles were reversed, Rooney would have done it so!

My friend, let's be honest, coogar never sees anything good in Wayne Rooney.
I agree. Sometimes his criticism of Rooney are baseless and sentimental no doubt, but he criticised Rooney well today.

rooney had one target to aim at & that target had only one marker. it's the easiest of pass to make but this is wayne rooney we are talking about. rooney miscues 3-10 yard passes on a regular, let's give him the accolades for getting it right tonight.

you are correct but not correct. grin

I'm tired of all these our players.

How can 2 full backs just coming back from injury become injured again in the same match? angry
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by SailorXY: 8:13pm On Jan 04, 2015
boring game, especially the first half.

the creativity once again was *spits* & blames fall on strikers for not finding the net. no much complains because we ain't losing, so its easy to swallow.

I keep saying this 3-5-2 should be scrapped cuz we have no speed in attack, useless back passes & even more useless safe side way passes in the name of ball retention.

Herrera with a strike Thierry Henry would have been proud of.
Angel di Maria showed with that last counter, why the 3-5-2 is a waste of time without a CF with pace!

Nobody criticises rafael when he gets injured, but if it were to be one of the 'brits', jones and smalling in particular, it would have been insult upon insults.

Didn't watch the match cos I was on my way to Calabar...From the reactions on here, it's goes to support my argument that Rooney is not World class...Yes he's got the work rate and drive but his overall game play has deteriorated for some time now... I still remember Euro 2004 and his early united days...
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by parrotibaba(m): 8:47pm On Jan 04, 2015
no need to point accusing fingers at wazza ,he is obviously tired ,since Newcastle he has been running in d midfield, n I for one thought LVG should hv benched him considering we need him all fresh for soton

lol. Believe me, don't ever make the mistake of trying to judge a. Player's bad performance from thiis thread. grin

Its usually magnified a 100 times here.

I remember my first weeks here, before I got used to the hyperbolic nature. Of the thread grin
I used to doubt if some people here were watching the same game as me.

game over!

brilliant assist from rooney to set di maria through. the yeovil goalie did not make many saves & that's a slap on our creativity department. if we can't be beating these kinda teams hands down we might as well give up.

Give us gif of that sexy assist now.

Th Weevil or what players were very physical, embracing anyone on a red shirt while the referee just moped! The ref scores very low to me.

You have come again. Rooney's pass was more the difficult work to do than Herrera to Rooney.

Secondly, the pass to Fletcher for Herrera's goal was a perfect short pass. So I don't know what you meant hat 'Rooney wouldnt have done it so.'

Is it because the pass from Herera to Rooney was in our defensive area? Then go review Rooney's pass to Di Maria vs Arsenal. Rooney took out two players before laying a perfect one for Di Maria.

i know you will defend rooney with the last drop of your blood. however, one thing you cannot defend is rooney's horrendous first touch and his inability to complete short passes. i have never seen rooney complete a 1-2 ball effectively in the last 5 seasons - he either returns with a hospital pass or overhits the pass.

Smalling had a perfect game.

Evans did well after the first shaking shaking start.

We played against Caterpillars and bulldozers.

I thought Rooney would be rested. I was surprised to see him start.

mehn dat Herrera goal na classic goal ,I don't think we hv scored dat kinda goal since Berbatov
