proxillin:stop blaming government for your self created problem. Have you forgotten that buhari once said that boko haram are fighting for injustice . Perhaps injustice because they are Allah soliders, maybe holy warriors whose government is denying right to practice their religion and exterblish their caliphet .you would rather blame your Koran because everything terrorist do including boko haram is instructed in Koran . You are so pathetic for blaming your govtnment for every dawn shit. Government is not the problem, Koran is. Majority of so called warriors of Allah including you adhere to the fascist ideology written in Koran which for the time being is protected by the veil religion |

abdecency: I don't want to waste 3seconds of my life reading those gibberish you wrote. My question is, When will the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) speak out against these acts of inhumanity? Who, among the "moderate" leaders of Islam, will call for a stop to this slaughter of innocent people? Boko Haram, ISIS, Al Queda, and other murderous gangs claim to be acting on behalf of Islam. Unless the Muslim world leadership distances itself from the butchers who commit these abominable acts, we can only conclude that all of Islam agrees with them. |

Buhari’s kids and people still use Quota system education (to enable them go to school) and federal character for them to get jobs. Imagine when a kid from Ebonyi State needs to score minimum of 112 in Common Entrance exams and another kid from Sokoto (a state that is older than Nigeria), Yobe etc., need only 9 and 2 respectively in the same exam. Remember that these kids wrote the same exam, in the same country, at the same time and answered the same questions. What corruption is worse than this? Yet Buhari has never condemned it. |

BUHARI IS NOT THE CHANGE WE WANT DEAREST NIGERIANS, Let me not talk about the PDP's, butTHESE ARE THE APC GUBERNATORIAL FLAG - BEARERS: (1) SOKOTO - Aminu Waziri Tambuwal (former PDP) (2) KEBBI - Abubakar Atiku Bagudu (former PDP) (3) KATSINA - Aminu Bello Masari (former PDP) (4) KANO - Umar Abdullahi Ganduje (former PDP) (5) KADUNA - Malam Nasir El-rufa'i (former PDP) (6) JIGAWA - Alh. Abubakar Badaru (former PDP) (7) BAUCHI - Barr. Muhammad Abubakar (former PDP) (cool GOMBE - Alh. Inuwa Yahya (former PDP) (9) NIGER - Abubakar Bello Sani (former PDP) (10) ADAMAWA - Umar Jibrilla Bindow (former PDP) (11) PLATEAU - Mr Simon Lalong (former PDP) (12) BENUE - Dr Samuel Ortom (former PDP) (13) TARABA - Aisha Jummai Alhassan (former PDP) (14) RIVERS - Dakuku Perterside (former PDP) (15) IMO - Rochas Okorocha (former PDP) (16) ENUGU - Okey Ezea (former PDP) (17) ABIA - Dr Nyerere Anyim (former PDP) (18) EBONYI - Dr Steve Egbo (former PDP) NOTE ALSO THAT more than 60% of the State & National Assembly Candidates are also all former PDP members! Let me not also forget to state that AUDU OGBE, APC's chieftain was a former Chairman of PDP (2001-2005). Do I also need to mention Atiku Abubakar? Or Rotimi Ameachi who was a PDP Speaker of Rivers state Assembly for 8 Years then Governor for 7 years? The list goes on and on. If PDP wasted and stole our time and resources for the past 16 years, my dearest citizens, the names listed above and many more are part of these bunch of criminals who stole and wasted these our resources. They were and are part of the people who lied and lie to us. My people, YES! We want change, but if I am a thief in Agbada, would wearing a Nnyika make me not to be a thief? Would I stop being a thief because I changed gang? Some of us will always argue that the states controlled by these thieves are better than the others, but let me ask: Did Ameachi do all he did for Rivers in the past 1 year that he became a memebr of the APC? Was it last year that APC was formed that the transformations in KANO took place or began? Was it APC's Government that did the stuffs in IMO? Dearest Citizens, for 16 years we have been under the PDP's Umbrella. Yes, but which person in this APC has not been in the corridor or close to the coridor of power in these past 16 years? Not only am I so disapointed in us as citizens, I am ashamed to be a part of this generation. We revolved & continue to revolve aroung the same group of people since Independence yet we seem to be comfortable with it. If they're saints as they claim, we wouldnt be where we are today. Do I need to start mentioning their names and potfolios? If I cant mention all, at least I know for a fact that as far back as 1982, Audu Ogbe was not only a speaker of his state assembly, he also was a Minister in Nigeria. Infact, he held two ministerial positions. I also know without doubt that Gen Buhari apart from being a PTF Chairman, rose to become the President of Nigeria as far as 1983. Very resently, Atiku Abubakar was an 8 years Vice President. I cant believe that at 72 some one who was President at 41 wants to be president again. I cant also come to term with my self when ever I read that Gen Yakubu Gowan was about 23 years old when he became Nigerias President. Well, I am above 23 now and I cant even feed myself. My dearest citizens of the Republic, do we continue rotating our leaders and expect to move forward? Do we expect to be in 2015 and have some one who ruled us decades ago rule us? As a child, I heard of Shehu Musa Yar'dua. As a teenager, I had Umaru Musa Yar'dua rule me as president. When do I see Taofeek Olanipekun be my president? When do I see a 31 year old Daniel Jaja, Yaqoob Akaaba, James Edafe, Mutiat Oyali e.t.c be governors or senator or even ministers? Dearests, Gen Martin Luther Agwai, the former Chief of Army Staff is now the Chairman of SURE- P. David Mark, former governor of 2 different states is today our Senate President. Tomorow, if PDP no longer favours him, he will join forces with APC or which ever party there is. We are where we are today because our fathers failed in their reponsibilities to plan for us. Are we going to let our children suffer what we suffer by allowing these people rotate offices among themselves? Whether we like it or not, Buhari as a former president recieves a Pension of 22.7 million. Whether you like it or not, when Jonathan completes his tenure, he will also recieve his millions as pension and the cycle will continue. One thing is sure, if Jonathan retains his presidency next year, he will not employ me in his government. One thing is also sure, if Buhari wins, he will not employ you in his government. Who will they then employ? Ofcourse, they will employ the same old crooks to help them out. This is not Change, APC is not change. When we see change, we go know! God Bless Your Hearts! Apc has their slogan as change but on this note i think pdp is the party that represent change with all the old thieves gone to rival APC https://www.nairaland.com/2066801/reasons-why-apc-doesnt-represent 2 Likes |

my heart bleeds for the youths of this country, presently over 15 LGAs frm 774 in the country are under d control of d dreaded Boko sect, in d last 4 yrs over 500 soldiers n policemen( the agents of d State) have been killed, thousands of innocent civilians were wasted, several mosques n churches burnt, many innocent Nigerians kidnapped. ..all these under d nose of a living president, wz all presidential powers n resources, its a common knowledge now that d insurgents are no more faceless, they perpetrate their mayhem in broad daylight unchallenged, while the president campaigns for continuity. Some of us are so heartless n inhuman jubilating over what is happening in the NE. They are so blind with sentiments to see nothing wrong with status qou, they hv forgotten that the primary responsibility of every president is to protect lives , properties n integrity of his subjects not minding the language they speak, not considering their location on Nigerian map, Christian or Muslims, Infidels or Idol worshippers. our destiny is in our hands we may decide to liberate ourselves or continue to live in bondage. Definitely, posterity wil judge us for our actions or inactions. God bless Nigeria. 1 Like |

These proxies did something similar in that lake-chad area late last year and were decimated by the Nigerian army so why would they repeat the same thing again? I'm tempted to think, it's because they're stupid, or they're eager for martyrdom...however the true reason may be a trap for the Nigerian army. Maybe not, in any case we should assume always that they're sponsored by external forces with all that this implies in terms of logistics, planing and intelligence and processed as the Nigerian army has until now with caution. But we have to clear them from all the towns reportedly under their control for the sake of our people foremost but also because the same sponsors, acting out of superposed international concern, will sooner or later use their presence in these towns to lunch attacks in Nigeria. |

This Boko Haram problem is not gonna end. The only solution will be to split Nigeria into three nations:. Igbo (Biafra), Yoruba (Oduduwa) and Hausa (Arewa). And let the Huasas fight BH for their nation's survival. |

simplemach: You don't beg terrorists or negotiate with them. You crush them. Maintaining security is the first job of the commander in chief and chief security officer of the country which happens to be the president. These outskirt towns have become a liability, we should consider leveling some of them, thus creating swathes of dusty no-mans-land buffer zones. I apologies if this comes across as placing the point of existence of human-beings- their origins, hopes, livelihood, memories and sacred places at the level of mere utility, but in reality few nations outside America and China and a few others, ultimately have the capability of securing the safety of marginal communities at a time of conflict. During the second world war, Britain had to evacuate the vulnerable from London and locate them out of harms way. Also this was in part preparation, clearing the way for fighting if the fear, at the time, of a Nazi landing came to fruition. Repeatedly in Africa, you look at conflict and those whose wretchedness are exposed to the gaze of the world in the media are inevitably rural. I recognize the dangers implicit in doing this; for example, further blurring borders; vacuums capable of being filled by Bokoharam, for the creation of a new nation, if we're unable to entirely crush them. However, these terrorists thrive in hiding behind women and children in crowded places. They need to be separated from the safe protection of women in towns. Sorry to say, but Bokoharam, Isis Alshbaba and the rest have made me view Arabs as cowards since this mode of fighting appears to come from them. I simply cannot wrap my mind around the notion of men skulking among civilians, placing them in harms way to save their own asses and to be in a position to cowardly fire on a soldier without being fired back at because a woman or child is in the way. These cowards might as well capture a bunch of women and children, tire them hand and foot and make a sort of sandbag fortification out of them. |

Boko Haram is a manisfestation of the IOC accord called the Abuja Declaration of 1989 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abuja_Declaration_(1989) and weda we like it or not we r helping dem achieve it. The agenda is to Islamatize naija so open ur eyes GMB is the first step to achiving the total eradication of Non-Muslins as amended in the 2010 declaration. dazdilijae: Abuja Declaration (1989) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search The Abuja Declaration is the name frequently given to the communiqué issued after the Islam in Africa conference held in Abuja, Nigeria between 24 and 28 November 1989. The conference was organised by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (at that time called the Organisation of Islamic Conference[1]) and it agreed to set up the Islam in Africa Organisation (IAO).[2][3] Contents [hide] 1 Declaration 2 Commentary 3 Alternative declaration 4 References 5 Further reading Declaration[edit] The declaration was to the effect that Muslims should unite throughout Africa, the curricula at "various educational establishments" should conform to Muslim ideas, the education of women should be attended to, the teaching of Arabic should be encouraged, and Muslims should support economic relations with Islamic areas worldwide. It noted that Muslims in Africa had been deprived of rights to be governed under sharia law and they should strengthen their struggle to reinstate it.[2] The Islam in Africa Organisation (nl) was formally established in July 1991, also in Abuja and it has stated its objectives.[4][5] Commentary[edit] John Chesworth (director of Islam and Christian-Muslim relations at St Paul's United Theological College, Limuru, Kenya) and John Azumah (senior research felllow, Akrofi-Christaller Memorial Centre, Ghana) have reviewed the proceedings at the conference.[6][7] On the decision to set up the IAO, Heather Deegan (senior lecturer in Comparative Politics, Middlesex University) has commented "More recently Islam has adopted a liberating posture, presenting itself as a religion which will rest countries from their neocolonial dependencies and ignoring the fact that it too was a conquering and colonising force in Africa over the longue durée."[8] The East African Centre for Law and Justice reports the declaration verbatim but goes on to quote two other objectives which it says were omitted from the IAO website. It also severely criticises what it regards as the real objectives of the IAO.[9] Alternative declaration[edit] In 1990 another declaration was promulgated purporting to be from the 1989 conference and which Frans Wijsen (professor of World Christianity and Interreligious Relations at Radboud University Nijmegen) regards as a forgery because it does not correspond with declarations made at the conference.[10] Regarding Africa, it said, amongst other things, that only Muslims should be appointed to strategic posts, non-Muslim religions should be eradicated, Nigeria should become a Federal Islamic Sultanate, and western law should be replaced with sharia. Wijsen regards this as indicating a more militant aspect of Islam in Africa and comments that some aspects directly conflict with official Islamic teaching.[10] |
