His preaching that day simply justifies the adage that the truth is bitter

Fr. Mbaka said what every SouthEasterner knows but is afraid to voice out. Consider the Enugu-Osha rd, 2nd Niger Bridge, Ebelechukwu angle. Then think about all his promises that he failed to fulfill: Unemployment, Power, Security, Corruption. He lost focus a long time ago even with all the goodwill given to him.

I wholeheartedly agree that it is pointless fighting for the masses because the same hoi polloi you are fighting for will the first to villify a hero.

Let the mal fitted die to make room for the well-adapted. Why even bother crying for social injustice when the folks you are fighting for are a bunch of moronic ingrates?

You talk, you die; you don't talk, you die.

You can give GEJ the next 20 years and he will not do squat. One common denominator is that no one that tasted Aso Rock wants to leave peacefully. The attraction is like heroin. In 2019, GEJ will start looking for a way to stay more.

It is said that one shouldn't criticize the men of God to avoid incurring God's wrath, but Rev. Fr. Mbaka is becoming too radical to be wearing a priest's robe.
Interferring with governance should be a collective decision by Nigerian priests, not a one-man's search for recognition. Why didn't he go for a private session with GEJ all through his tenure? Now, he is campaigning as the elections are close with a method 'as worthless as open letters' instead of focusing on winning souls for God.
To whom more is given, more is expected. Fr. Mbaka is not respecting his title.

My dear, Mbaka is out of control. The Catholic Bishop of Enugu is helpless. The only option available is to excommunicate him in which case the man goes to set up his own church.

It's really sad. But I doubt if the bishop has the balls to call him to order, let alone initiate an excommunication. If by some miracle that ever happens, it will doubtlessly be in the church's interest even if Fr Mbaka breaks away with his own church. He has fully become a cancer to the body of the Mother Church in Enugu. May God help us.

Abeg o, they should leave him alone o for their own good.. Trust me, you don't wanna mess with a catholic priest, ask former governor Ikedi Ohakim. Catholics value a local village priest even morethan Obama. An attempt to fight a Rev. Father is a very risky one..
Who is a Catholic priest, mbaka?,is not everyone with Rv before their name are Catholic priest,so wise up.this man called mbaka wanted a free access to the first lady so that he can be obtaining money from her,as that didn't work out. for him,he started vomiting rubbish from his mouth.election period is when fake pastors make their own money

Good news for mr President; Anybody that Fr Mbaka predicts his election failure always wins the election. In 2003 Fr Mbaka predicted that the incumbent Governor, Dr Chimaroke will fail to be re-elected but it didn't materialize. He vowed to resign his priesthood should the Governor get re-elected. The Governor was re-elected and he completed his tenure. In 2007 he prophesied against PDP but PDP won.In 2011 the thing happened. Though the priest is a great man of God but he should leave politics for politicians and concentrate in ministry. Many evil politicians are using his ministry ground as their campaigning ground. Among all the men of God the man is highly rated for healing, deliverance and manifestation of the holy spirit but he has left the real mission and jumped into dirty politics of Nigeria.May God restore him and help us all.
I find this very disturbing n incorteous; when youths in their right senses; come on board to spew thrash; why will u say aa man of God; who is a spiritual head n father to many; shouldn't meddle in politics, when in fact it (politics of d country) affects him and his congregants(dat still come to cry to him) Direectly ; for me; I eeven get disgusted when I see big reluigious figureheads laying dormant in politics;...
FYI; are u aware; the martin luther king; dat is revverred today was n still remained a pastor all through his political struggle!!!
Its really annoying seeing nigerians come on line to sspew trash with unfounded info... Quite disturbing

I'm not a Catholic. I am not a pastor worshipper, but I try to stay up to date with my bible . Why are people condemning this priest? Why are people so against his participation in the political brouhahaha? Last time I checked, Samuel was so involved with Saul and David. Wasn't that politics? Wasn't Elijah an active critic of King Ahab? Wasn't that politics. There are other prophets the Bible associate with politics. The prophetess, Deborah cannot be left out, she also fought for Israel...so why criticise him? Is serving God restricted to Sunday Services alone, or Church issues? Aren't we as a nation, God's people? How I wish some Nigerians would stop being so marginal and ignorant!
exactly my thoughts! Are you sure you are not my missing rib grin? Na joke o.

But seriously we need to face the truth , if the men of God don't 'talk about politics ' who then will advice them on the way to govern the people the corrupt ministers or advisers

Listen, they will begin to tell us this one is a Christian the other one is a Muslim. I don’t believe in that. Who is a Christian more than Judas? Did Judas not betray Jesus? Judas was not just a Christian, he was not just a mere apostle, he was a super apostle like a cardinal but at a time he messed up and Bible says his office, let another take.......... Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka

It is so unfortunate that pastors are becoming vultures around the president. Pastors are becoming hawks around him, eating the porridge of Jacob and selling their prophetic rights. And anointing is being merchandised in Aso Rock, carrying our nairas, turning it to dollars and carrying it in jets moving out of the country......... Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka

If my father will be my leader and all my siblings will die, I will rather prefer a stranger to be my leader for my family to live...... Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka

Very deep

Nobody sees anything wrong when Ayo Oritsejafor supports Jonathan, but cry when any pastor says anything against the President.

Mbaka said First Lady refused taking his calls. Could that be what angered him?

Whatever, the man is a huge embarrassment to the Catholic priesthood.

Again, does he need to meet Buhari in person before collecting money from him? Atleast, he knows Ngige, Amaechi, Okorocha and other APC agents
I TIRE FOR DIS PEOPLE, THEM THINK SAY WE BE FOOL. ANYWAY I STOPPED TAKING THAT MAN SERIOUS SINCE 2003.

Maybe you should go read your Bible again. The OT prophets you listed were mainly Jewish prophets. We are christians and we follow the precepts of our Lord Jesus Christ. Do you remember what Jesus said when He was asked if His followers should pay tax to Ceaser? That should be the guide for all christian clergy, my friend.

That serves him right... The so-called Man of God is not suppose to spew any thing that will cause havoc in the electoral process, He's suppose to act indifferent to these campaigns.... I see no reason why he would just open his mouth and start saying GIBBERISH...
If GEJ wins come Feb, he just go to a land of no return... my 2cents though
Then where's this land of no return? The truth is that Mr. Jonathan will win but will not do more than Obama has done to the United States.

i mean that he should have kept it a secret while God says "speak out"?

Hundreds of Jonathan and his goons do not equal his little finger.

Only a word that comes out of his mouth can sent u to a land of no return and wipe off ur generation.

even in the bible the government was criticized highly on the altar. Thats what men of God do.. seeing wrong and calling it wrong.. God would be happy with them for it.... the truth is always bitter, the problem with the church these days is that they hide from telling the truth just to be in the good books of some people... but no, the church is supposed to be an entity where evil societal deeds are condemned openly!

Mr. Man,
Jesus didn't come to Change the law... He simply readjusted. Like a review. Now what has giving to Ceaser got to do with this? What you just stated is not applicable to this scenario. In this case, we remain God's people, and nothing changes the fact that God still uses people or situations to set his people straight. Stop being sentimental , don't let it cloud your judgment, Biko!

The man of God said he delivered a message from God. Even if the message is not from God, I don't blame the man of God. We have tried for pres. Jonathan. Six years is not six days neither is it six weeks or six months. We've endured enough. I pray the will of God be done this coming election. Thanks.

Any Pastor can do a volte face depending on revelation. Paul thought he was fighting God's battle with vigour while persecuting the Christians and supervising the killing of Stephen. People like u who may have looked up to him then would wonder what happened when he started preaching Christ. Peter conveniently denied Christ thrice but he became one of the most revered apostles. Fr Mbaka may have supported Jonathan but he's entitled to change whether he is a pastor or not.

I still did not get the rational behind his attempted calls to Mrs P Jonathan. Did he want to tell her the message given to him from above? The venting and the utterances seem to have been potentiated from not being able to get to Mrs Jonathan. My thought though.
