What stipidity is this? These guys always painting women/ families and tradition black , dont they have sisters? Do they think it was easier to marry a woman in those days? They always want women to be like women of old yet they shy away from acting like men of old. There is no where in the world where they dash you their daughter. If the woman is not paying, the man is paying.

No one forces any man to marry their daughter. A wayward daughter who gets impregnated is a shame to her people by culture(wether this is right or wrong is not ny point here) and she can be given away for free even. But a daughter who is good and brings pride to her family must be wedded. Its tge pride of her mother. Marriage rites are always negotiable. The man and his people can talk things out with tge womans people. Its not by force. You dont want dont go back, no need to lay egg sef. Just walk away if ger people are gredy and not listening to your plea.
