That was my exact thoughts when i saw the post on Linda Ikeji this morning. I am not in the military but i just knew a post like that in the public eye will have very grave consequence for the young soldier. Blogspots and online media need to be a lot more responsible in this area. I still hope he does not get into serious trouble though 1 Like |

berem:How do u know she isn't on Nairaland. This is an open letter n it'l get to her whether she is here or not. The truth had to b said anyways. Am sure linda will get to c it herself cos she opens other blogs n forums alot looking 4 news to steal ...she is highly involved in plagiarism. May God help her. 3 Likes |

Well...those soldiers using social media while in troubled zone(whatever the reason) is something to be worried about. A while back I saw a pic(on your thread) of a soldier in a van probably on patrol or an OPs operating a mobile phone. Truth be told, most of these new boys are highly unprofessional. Bro, I can't blame Linda...she needs traffic. 5 Likes |

If the Soldier didn't want Linda Ikeji reporting what he said, he won't be posting on Twitter. If i may ask OP, what was the soldiers goal of ranting on twitter? 3 Likes |

SiriusBlack: I am in 100% agreement with the statement above. However, I'd like to point out that as soon as you open a twitter account or access any website on the internet, particularly if you reside in Nigeria, you are no longer completely anonymous unless you have enough IT sophistication to know how to cover your IP addresses and other markers . Linda Ikeji has not exposed any information not already known to the authorities, and they will get the soldier if they so wish. Leave Ikeji alone buddy! 12 Likes |

In as much as I will like to blame LIB, the soldier is to be blame too, this is a social medial for God sake, every tom, dick and Harry have access to it, so if linda hadn't published it another blogger will...... The soldier shouldn't have included his pix on any of his social medial acct long live N.A, victory is from God alone 2 Likes |

Please let's learn to relay our thoughts in a more encouraging and decent manner. Let's not cause conflict on NL. Please ur comment is really high. 1 Like 1 Share |

Re: An Open Letter To The Linda Ikeji Blog. by FYsol: 8:58am On Jan 06, 2015 |
I totally disagree with the OP, whenever anyone writes anything on any social media platform, it is simply because he wants all to see it. and if Linda helps to broadcast it i dont see any harm in it. If you had said Linda leaked military secret file then i will agree with you. But not a tweet posted online for us to see. Lets reduce our hatred for this young woman. And let me ask you, do you want our soldiers to die in silence? 8 Likes 1 Share |

excuse me?for d soldier to have a Twitter account and tweet wat he tweeted means he knows d consequences of his action, he wanted ti vent right? linda ikeji gave him a bigger platform to vent his anger, she dis nothing wrong, d soldier won't b on Twitter and even tweet such if he does care bout d consequences 3 Likes |
