No, stop diverting.

Diverting to where ?

donphilopus:

No, stop diverting. You initially made it look like he never attended a Primary School let alone a Secondary. Lemme just believe your assertion is just an assumption. Whether Buhari had 0 or 9 then is not the major issue, the issue is that he attended the NDA with his SSCE or
its Equivalent

Please stop this, if he attended NDA with such, the million dollar question is "WHERE IS THE CERTIFICATE ?"

If he can't produce it, then the semi literate tag sticks until he does the needful and stop wasting his time . . . .

donphilopus:

Is it possible to be admitted into a prestigious school like the NDA without a School Cert?! Yes, or No?!
How did he apply to study at the NDA?! Did he apply with his SSCE or its equivalent, or not?! Is it possible to apply to study at the kinda school without your School Cert?! Do you know the minimum requirement for that kinda school at all?!

YES it is possible in the shambolic quota system we practice, more so in his time when academic penetration wasn't rife as today and the NDA wasn't even a degree awarding institute then.

Even in present times, the story up North remains largely same. So ?

donphilopus:

Just a rumour, right?!

Yes, i considered it a rumour because of the absence of a satisfactory source . . . .

There are countless of threads to that effect here so am wondering why you are yapping to no where . . . . . Tell your semi illiterate cattle rearer that he will be given his final political burial next month.

It's not about mounting billboards in far away lands but by mobilizing and energizing those with their PVC's to go out and vote.

Dude you need to curb the bitterness that is engulfing you and making you talk in a completely sentimental and senseless manner. Can you read what you wrote again and tell us if you are making logical sense? Ghana is closer to Lagos than Abuja is. By your logic, Abuja is "far away land" also. When you defy statistical fact and logic to speak as sentimentally as you do, with all pretence to intellectual depth thrown out of the window, it is obvious your thinking is now driven by emotion alone.

The very point being made is that Ghana is targeted because it is not "far away land". The reality you deny to yourself is that Ghana is Nigeria's next door Sister nation many Nigerians (around a million) have settled in because of proximal , cultural, linguistic and lifestyle affinity. No sane and responsible Nigerian political Party will ignore the Nigerian voting bloc in Ghana. That your myopic Party, full of dullards, chose to do so does not mean you should remain here trying to run down an initiative that is essential.

But for the gradualist, vote-rigging, divisive, indolent and cheating ways of the PDP Nigerians in the diaspora would even be voting now !!! It was 7 years ago, in 2007, that Yar Adua stated his Party and ruling government would try to make it a possibility for diasporans to vote ASAP. Nothing has been done to make this a reality and I am surprised any sensible Nigerian would not see the merit of what the APC is trying to do by including populous and proximally advantaged diasporan blocs in the voting process that will deliver the change we all want. Once again, the APC is leading by example but you do not have the integrity to admit this.

Please spare me the tripe above, you are in no position to determine what makes a post senseless, emotional and sentimental when discussing issues that bothers on your party.

Ghana being closer to Lagos than Abuja doesn't dispel the fact it is more profitable to campaign for more voters in a LGA in Nigeria than the comical billboard in Ghana.

Considering the times, this move is just for the fun of it and nothing more. No volume of lengthy words can change the simple reality.

Dude, is Ghana "far away land"? Simple question na. Why are you PDP TANdroids so sentimental and unwilling to defer to logically superior argument and statistical fact? Tell the entire forum what makes Ghana "far away land" or spare us further empty pontifications. We all know your " more voters in a LGA" diatribe is the usual emotion-driven, reactionary and pettily bitter empty argument you guys trade in.

Who told you this campaign in Ghana come at the expense of local campaigning in Nigeria? Did you not read the post where I explained that the APC and PDP have active wings in Ghana, UK, USA et al who do their bit to promote the electoral potency of their Party in Nigeria? You are just consumed by sentiments totally these day and it is a shame you do not see this.

Lolz, the dude is back to his trade of straw grasping to no where, "Far away land" is a common parlance to denote foreign borders or land or place of great distances. So am wondering what you are hoping to get out of that futile exercise.

Dude, please stop prancing about all in a bid to defend the erect1on of a comical billboard in Ghana.

A TANdroid in full sentimental mode talking about "straw grasping". Can you not see that your inane argument will never make sense today or even in a million years? Claiming Ghana is "far away land", however you want to spin it, just shows your clannish, protectionist, unexposed and 'localised' mind.

Engaging you in debate is always a back-and-forth exercise in futility because of your obstinacy that fails to defer to superior logic and/or statistical representation of facts. Ghana is not "far away land" it is Nigeria's sister nation with one of the largest populations of Nigerians outside Nigeria. One minute you flip-floppers are praising the PDP as the "biggest politicsl Party in Africa" and the next minute you are trying to justify how the Party has zero effort in a nation that, on every index possible, qualifies to be call Nigeria's sister nation above almost all others in the entire world. The PDP is left playing 'catch up' in Ghana and you would rather rubbish the APC's laudable effort than admit your Party is a poor excuse of a ruling Party more interested in looting than thinking.

Only emotional TANdroids like you will suggest it is okay to ignore such a voting bloc that is easily mobilised effectively because of close proximity. The APC strategist are merely showing they know how to get the most out of every process and situation while the ideologically obsolete PDP, as usual, is full of hot air that sentimental, intellectually lazy and reactionary folks like you bore others with.

An APC maggot on a needless whining episode. Choosing to straw grasp on a commonly used parlance won't work here. Ghana being a sister nation doesn't change the focus that it is a foreign land, Niger and Chad are closer to Nigeria than Ghana, but they lie at a great distance if referenced from the Southern region of Nigeria. Folks living in Cross River or Benue won't necessarily consider Ghana closer than Abuja, so your watery statistical assertion doesn't hold water since the point of reference matters a lot.

To an APC maggot, it flew over your head that Nigerians don't need a comical billboard to travel home to fulfill their civic responsibility. It is even clownish to suggest the PDP is playing catch up in Ghana; how does that remotely affect the formidable grassroots structure of the PDP in Nigeria which wins most elections ? What a joke.

Your futile tears cannot change the reality that the battle is right here in Nigeria and no comical billboard in a foreign land can change the momentum of events.

Simply embarrassing.

This is effective and proactive campaigning. Ghana is a 45 minutes flight away from Nigeria. There are more Nigerians in Ghana than virtually all other West African and African nations. By road, it takes far less time to travel from Ghana to Nigeria than it does to go from lagos to Abuja.

As an opposition party seeking every single vote possible, this strategy of targeting diasporan votes in Ghana, very much regarded our sister nation for many reasons, is a forward-thinking one that may well pay massive dividends and will certainly cause no harm otherwise. It is wise to remind Nigerians who are nearby, to come home and vote for change.

What makes more sense than to urge Nigerians, in a country hosting many of our frustrated and disgruntled citizens , to come home and vote for the actualisation of the changes that could make them return home permanently? Of course PDP stalwarts, bless their 'slow' brain, will see nothing good in this strategy even a kid can tell makes a lot of logical sense and is another innovative idea delivered by a Party more innately visionary than that they support clannishly and without merit.
You need brain injection. How many Nigerians in Ghana have Voter's Card.
