@mojayo. Why would you apply mentholatum on ur babys ear? Stop cleaning his ear. Use wash cloth to clean the outer ear, leave the insides alone. Don't go poking the wound too!!! 1 Like |

lovinam:yeah, its mum dat told me to apply it there to ease him of d pain, she even use hot water with mentholatum inside to mop d sides of his ear to ease d pain for him,cos he dnt want anyone to touch d sides of his ear, which I discover its becos of d pain,I m giving him paracetamol and. Vitamin c to ease d pain and healing of d wound, since mum used hot water with mentholatum on d sides of his ear,the pain has reduced a bit, like before dat he will shout if anything touches him there, though he still cry,bt nt dat much,I'm no more cleaning his ear o,no more cleaning his ear with a cotton swab,I'm nt poking d wound o,never, tanx dear for ur advice |

NoQualms1, rezzy, when they are born, babies are nearsighted for a while. You can play eyes-to-eyes by moving very close to her face and slowly nodding your head from side to side, up and down. I do this with my 4 weeks old & she responds by following me with her eyes. This helps develop their optical muscles 1 Like 1 Share |

Happy new year good people. My 6 weeks daughter is always staring at the ceiling. Should i be bothered or ignore it. She even smiles while staring atimes, it is kinda scary. Please for now i feel this is very normal. But there is no harm in mentioning your concern in your next hospial visit which i believe you are due for. 1 Like |

You must be a very good teacher for her to pay u full salary during ur maternity leave. I mean u have not worked for one year. In my place oif work u must work at least one year to be entitiled. To rmonths and half salary while on leave. Well istarted work when my baby was not upo to three months. I took my baby to the oiffice too. Express and leave with the daycare nanny. When it finishes they can call u to feed baby. If u are strong enough start work. The director is a nice lady oi. Make u no lose rthat job. rezzy: 1 Like |

rezzy: Many choices depending on your pocket and ease of availability to where you are. nan, sma, enfamil, similac and aptamil. They are all good You can also try a variety and know the one your baby prefers over time 1 Like |
