DieVluit: You are a lost cause. Imagine South-Africa falling into chaos, in the same manner as libya, what would the chaos in South-Africa do to the security of Zimbabwe or mozambique battling a rebellion in their own country? COIN is new to the Nigerian military, at no point did the military claim it was experienced in COIN, I don't know what you're blabbing on about. Boko-haram has achieved no progress. Reporting on an attack on a remote base, while scores of insurgents were taken out, is like over-exagerating the importance of a tricycle when same person has a rolls-royce. 1 Like |

Boko Haram is successful, just years back they were underground but now they run a juicy portion of Nigeria equivalent to the UK (as you always claim). |

Should they make similar show in nigeria, what do you think would happen since you guys fvck a lot, I mean even nature cant keep up with numbers of aborted, abandoned, over populated kids, and grown up mofos like you. |

mzilakazi:mumu, mandela was still in prison cursing and begging to be released. years after the African Titan aroused from her colonial slumber. No American or white leader visited him in prison while he ws a jail bird a nigerian leader did. But years later when he got free the prison cell of the abandoned jail bird became a tourist center for white folks to come and pay penance for the injustice they ve caused you guys. Obama even had the mind to visit that prison and confess all sort of motivational jargons. Nigeria led south Africa not to her independence but to her true freedom. The book a long walk to freedom will never find its way into my library. Unlike other African heroes that fought in the liberation movement, nelson mandela wrote more about his perceived efforts and his personal woes than the efforts of other partners or the woes of other fellow fighters in that book, the book a long walk to freedom is dubious and ill constructed designed to immortalise a single man. Who by some stroke of luck and coincidence found himself in a favourable position with history. |

Henry120: The lost cause here is the Nigerian military. Boko haram progress to date: 1. Forced the nigerian military from COIN to conventional. 2. Grew from Koran thumbing jokers to fearsome killers. 3. Grew from jokers to holders of territory in nigeria. 4. Had the nigerian government spending billions to fund an internal war. 5. Had the nigerian military killing its own soldiers. 6. Had the nigerian political elite under immense pressure with questions from the public. 7. Planted chaos. 8. They EXIST still. 9. Captured bases. 10. Exposed the military's cowardice and lack of organisation. 11. Has already upset this years vote in the borno north. ... The list goes on and on. You've failed to stop them, my man. You've failed. COIN is now new? You are no longer "experts"? Libya's insecurity has not affected Senegal for example. It has not affected The Gambia. It has not affected other countries in the same way that it has affected Nigeria. Please bra, the issue lies with your military, which has been utterly embarrassing. 2 Likes |

overhypedsteve: How do you know what Mandela wrote about if the book will never find its way to your "library"? How come no Nigerian hero has through some stroke of luck found himself in a similar position? You have more people and have seen everything from coups to wars, yet you have no heroes? All this anger because we said your flag is a flag of cowards? Well, tell us about your stories of freedom and list your heroes. You have nothing WORTH NOTING. You led no one, least of all yourselves. You are indeed a nation of cowards and the green and white is the flag of cowards. 2 Likes |

DieVluit:your words are the words of a " casual ignoramus" Nigeria nationalized British petroleum, baclay bank, banned south Africa from participating in sporting activity in Africa and receive and embraced your exiled freedom fighters. We moved for the freedom of south Africa at all possible levels. listen up mate. Nobody cared about your ancestors black a55( if the brits did they wont have sold you off to the boers by signing the act of union 1910) nobody wanted to be seen fighting for the freedom of the bushmen in south Africa, all they wanted was your gold and diamond and this they were getting in abundance under the boer government. You think the white care about you? No they don't. I would understand if you talk about African countries but please stop deceiving yourself by mentioning the whites or the Rusks nd chinks, very soon you will tell me Nazi Germany fought for your freedom i feel really sorry for you young man. Let me add, in 2009, B-H led by yusuf had killed over 400 people. They didn't start murdering civilians in 2015. They didn't go about thumbing korans in 2015 you w@nker. |

Henry120: Oh so now religion is the problem? Thought the problem was the flow of guns? Now that its been shown that the flow of weapons has not affected other countries in the same way, the problem is now something else? My friend, you can run from it from here to the moon. Your anger could even part the red sea. But you'll come back to the same thing. The problem is with your military. That is the simple truth baba. We won't lie to you. We are all family here. I listed 12 instances of Boko haram progress and you wang to tell me about how many people BH murdered under Yusuf? Well let's talk about that. You were brave enough to capture and murder Yusuf in captivity. The last video of him showed him to be willing to speak, at least. There were no excuses then. Now you have a gazillion excuses from the direction of the wind to the price of rice in china? Man, BH 0.1 were a joke. They were nothing but a Koran thumping outfit. They had military formation. Now that things have gotten tough, you have stories. Why did I leave the rebellion in Mali out? I left many countries out. But now, does Mali claim to be one of the best in Africa? Mali? Or have they accepted their haplessness and asked for help from the UN? So, this is where you need to be too? Ok, so when will you ask for help? Accept it, my man. BH has grown in leaps and bounds under your watch. You on the other hand, have shrivelled into a joke. |

Algeria battled islamist from 1991-2004 on a large scale, and still continues to battle multiple pockets of islamist to this day. I've educated you on the history of extremism in Nigeria, the heightened proliferation of arms into this conflict due to the situation in libya, the progress Nigeria has and continues to make in it's COIN efforts. At this point, as always, what you choose to believe is entirely your problem. 1 Like |

On power, this is what Nigeria generates. Dangote Group, Honeywell, BUA Group and other cement, food and beverage manufacturing plants across the country are generating over 15,000 megawatts of electricity that are not in the national grid. This was disclosed by the President and Chief Executive Officer of General Electric (GE) Nigeria, Dr. Lazarus Angbazo, at the weekend when speaking to journalists in Lagos. Angbazo stated that this 15,000mw captive power sustains the operations of these private companies. He said captive power was one area of the power sector where the Nigerian market was in its maturity, stressing that the installed capacity on the national grid and the installed capacity off-grid was estimated to be nearly equal. http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/dangote-group-honeywell-others-generate-15-000mw-captive-power/176725/ Nigeria has an installed power generation of about 15,000 MW, the installed infrastructure can only carry 5000MW. In total Nigeria produces over 30,000 MW of power from both Big private companies like BUA, Honeywell, Ibeto, G.E, and the Federal government. This excludes power generated by individual citizens. If we are to actually calculate power generated in the individual countries and compare both, Nigeria does actually generate more power than South-Africa. |

Henry120: You were "done" with me a post ago. But you aren't "done" with me because you can't ignore that which hurts you. You can only get angry and hurl insults. But that changes nothing. You know what you are angry? You're angry because you thought that you were being smart hours when you said COiN has given way to semi-conventional. You don't anticipate that this would be used against you. Now that it is, you're disgusted with yourself. All these insults are meant for you, but you need an outlet. Your stories, no one buys. They are excuses. The proliferation of weapons story has been shown to not work, because if it were true, all the countries in the region should have a trajectory similar to nigeria. But it ONLY in Nigeria where: 1. Bases are seized and female soldiers abducted; 2. You open your eyes and a new LG has been captured; 3 soldiers shoot their own commanders; 4. Koran zealots grow into a formidable force in a matter of months; 5. Soldiers keep running away from said zealots; 6. There's total mistrust in the military 7. Soldiers shoot themselves so they aren't forced to fight against the enemy 8. Soldiers' wives and girlfriends come to their rescue. 9. Soldiers protest that they don't have equipment; 10. Soldiers are sentenced to death even though they aren't adequately equipped. The list goes on and on. All these things have zero to do with the proliferation of weapons. They have EVeRYTHING to do with a military that's not good enough. Your stories and gymnastics won't work, my man. You lost this the moment you told us that your COIN op has failed. Because you now realise that, you want to get all aggro. You do have nothing to debate, yes. The horse has bolted. 2 Likes |

kgr28:agaugust, evarn, henry120 just watch this ignorant saffer distort history. Well. Your apartheid leaders were able to stop other black men from entering south Africa, they were able to prevent blacks from other Africa countries from entering south Africa, but they were unable to prevent a single black nigerian from entering south agtoca during this period. I have it on strong, hard copied and softcopied authority that " General obasanjo, as a member of a common wealth mediation effort. Known as the eminent persons group, General obasanjo visited Nelson mandela three times in pollsmoor prison outside capetown in 1986. And to be frank with you, i am sure your mandela would be overjoyed to see our dear old General Obasanjo's pretty face when he came to visit. after years and years of abandonment in prison. Lol, Mandela, hmm. Nigeria really helped to make that niggur popular.. Now here is a 1999 article from the newyork times proving that General obasanjo visited mandela in pollsmoor prison in 1986. http://www.nytimes.com/1999/03/02/world/man-in-the-news-nigerian-question-mark-olusegun-obasanjo.html |
