I have noticed since january 2nd no one has been able to succesfully post an ad on olx around Nigeria. I tried posting yesterday but wasnt succesfull. This mornin on entering to check if anyone has posted anything i noticed thousands of ads were deleted in many categories. Pls has any one else noticed this from his/her location too? |

I have not noticed that this year but posted this year.If it is true that is a welcome idea cos when I started buying from Olx no too many scammers. it all started heavily mid last year.you can't even see real seller among 5-10 listings that's terrible. 1 Like |

I think Its a good idea. All my ads that i edited and updated were all rejected. I angrily deleted all of dem. only for dem to apologize later for inconveniences. So i reposted some and they were accepted. Will stil repost the rest when i have the time. Im reluctant to edit or update any of my ads for now. I still get most response from olx so i need dem. 1 Like |

I recently posted and it was rejected, i had to mail the OLX customer support team and they replied me with this. I replied and told them i took the pictures myself, so if you downloaded a picture from google, i think thats one of the reasons because most of these scammers do that often times. 1 Like

No wonder, alot of pictures used by the scammers are from google, its a step from OLX to filter out these scammers ,very nice. |

with all their sanitation, people like this are still allowed http://www./userlistings/passwell22 all his ads smell of scam. check his different locations this morning alone. i called his nos and because i asked him direct questions on the iPhones, he said i be bad market and never to call him again, his friends started laughing at d background.... while my own advert gets rejected for editing an existing ad. the scammers will just take another dimension. simple. note: he is using real pictures. |

harizy:The problem is our security agencies don't do their job otherwise they wouldn't be so bold to post and include their phone number. Even one called himself custom officer and even have the gut to invite me to meet infront of custom haedoffice in wise zone 3. I was suprised he was not afraid I might set him up and arrest him. |
