I assume you are running stock KitKat..

Try adding a space between AT+EGMR

Example : Normally it looks like this "AT+EGMR"
Now add a space in between AT and + it should look like this "AT +EGMR"

Try it and see if it works for you man..

Use king root or root master ( requires Internet connection)

King root is recommend though, them you can install SuperSU and remove the King user.


KitKat custom ROM?

Best I have used is this Aarinze's ROM.
Others give back camera issues on some phones

You can always try out to see.

Just search king root on google, it is different from "kingo" root.
It's easy to use, just click the green button where root is written.

The link to aarinzee's ROM is on a previous page.
Just scroll back, and you will see it.

If ah flash cwm it will boot to cwm the first time but if ah want to boot to recovery the second time I will only see the stock... Pls what could be the cus?

Bros, this ain't stock KitKat rom for m2 but rather the first custom KitKat rom for m2

Just download SuperSU from playstore and also download link2sd.

Install SuperSU, it will overwrite the kinguser then you can use link2sd to uninstall the kinguser.
