Pls this the matter on ground! So lemme ask nairalanders! Can u marry someone that has a child already?
1) you love him so much
2) He is from the Igbo tribe
3) The child here is actually a boy ( Twins, oh yes! boys!)

Ok my friend is actually confused! The babies are just 1month old...now here is the full story;

She and the guy hv bin dating for 3years, then later broke up or should I say, had issues and was away for like a year, only to meet again n started dating again, now his ex gf just showed up with the story of having his kids! He dated that girl for like 7years! He broke up with her because she cheated on him with his cousin! Now when him and my friend came back together,he told her of how he had a one night stand with the ex, coz he was drunk when he met her again in platinum club, then took her home. It all happened that night! Now he proposed on his birthday in Dec, weeks after this girl came with the babies n told him it's hz kids! Can u all imagine? Paternity test came out positive on Monday! Now can she go ahead and marry him? His ex gf is also crazy about him, now she claims to have an upper hand because she is the mother of his two kids( all boys)! What's your advice!

As for me, I'm confused!! Ordinarily, I would have said MOVE ON, because of drama, but I know how dis guy loves my friend! Like I know! Oh dear!

Thank you, but the issue is not about who the guy shd go for, the guy is still willing to get married to my friend, the issue is if she shd go ahead, u know the plenty stories of "igbos and how they value male child" ish #no offence no apology, that's the issue now...if she shd go ahead and marry him

if its worth it the fight then she should go ahead and marry...
but the road is not going to be a smooth one considering

As for my humble opinion op,i will really ask your friend to backout from dat arrangements. As dey oda has claimed to ave upper hand,das is quiet true and she can do nothing about dat,cos if she push through wit dat plan sorry will be her name becos dey oda one will fight with her last blood just to push her out of dat house or beta still eventually kill her if care is not taken so pls tell her to back out ,cos God will still provide her wit a single and still searching guy.tell her to take herself out from untimely death tank you.

dnt try to paint the truth. except he refused his responsibilities as d father of those kids. if they remain wit d mother, he tends to visit n as such there would be exchange of phone calls even if it is once in a while. if he decides to take d kids, which d mother may not accept.. she will visit once in a while thereby making that house uncomfortable for the wife. this marriage would work if only d intending couple lives far n in different state with d mother to d kids. in such way.. she can ve her man to herself ONLY.
