Fulani and Touareg built Mali andSonghai and Ghana. LOL. Troll on, dude.

I need you to tell me 'Hamites' also built the stone structures of Great Zimbabwe, created the naturalistic sculptures of Ife, the earthmounds around Benin City, etc.

Am not saying Negroid didnt built anything. I am just saying all the advancement in Africa is cause of "Hamitic" people. Everything from Nubia, Kush, Axum, Punt, Ancient Egypt, Abyssinia, Adal, Ajuran etc and Tuaregs, Fulanis, and North Africa are all Hamtic people.

Look where Hamtic people didnt live which his Southern Africa, there is no progress there, their are Bushman still there.

Negro-Hamitic is the term used by Seligman (god rest his soul and may he enter paradise). Clearly they are not Pure like Somalis. Even Tutsi will tell you that their forefathers emigrated from Ethiopia

You are quoting the obsolete; discredited works of Seligman in the 21st century? Seriously? Do you know how far anthropological scieonce has come since Seligman wrote his crap?

Why have you refused to get a modern education, Somali ?

Bororojo please stop responding to Axum, you can't reason him. Talking to him doesn't lead anywhere. He could go to the library of congress and say he doesn't see any books and still argue. You can't wake up someone who pretends sleeping.

I learned this a long time ago, he's a professional troll

He may use words that many dont know like hermetic, but if you see the history of Cushitic people, then you can easily see his work is right. Bantus couldn't defend themselves against outsiders no matter where they were.

You just dont like to hear the facts.

I think bororojo you were referring to this. Actually even some of the Almamys of Futa braided their hair.
Here is Almamy Sori Ibrahima.

It's what our Wodaabe Fulani brothers in Niger and Chad do today

Southern Africa had Zimbabwe, Mapubgubwe, etc. You should look them up.

Not to belittle the Fulani, but the three prime empires that stand out the most in the history of the West African sahel were not created or run by your so-called "Hamites".

Whatever makes you go to sleep at night. How can Bantus/Nilotic who outnumber Cushitic 8 to 1 not have accomplished what we have?

Let's get this thread back to the original topic at hand, it has become so discombobulated that I don't even know where to start hiding posts. Axum/Ajuran/Somal/Ayanle, you always ruin things of good intention.

You ruined the Bantu thread which I still have to fix and now you are attempting to ruin this thread but I see my Sakkiraabe Bororojo and OmarBah, as well as a few others such as Radoillo, TerryCarr and ArtanK have put that ossifying brain of yours in check.

What you have accomplished. *chuckles*

I'm going to be honest with you: Axum is the only civilization from the Horn that fascinates me. It appears to be the only one that also fascinates historians of Africa, which explains why general African history texts are more or less silent on Adal and Ajuuran. I wouldn't even have known about them if not for you. The more fascinating empires are in the African interior. :-D

This would be my last post here. Sorry, Fulaman, Omarbah, for the distraction.

I tried to tell him to ignore these theories. But hey , he clearly told me he doesn't care about Africa. He only cares about Somalia, even that I doubt it. That's as far as you can the conversation to.

I think I should braid my hair and get some ethnic markings in full on my forehead, but then I'd probably get fired from work.

Lol hair braiding for men is viewed negatively in Futa which is weird because some of Almamys used to do it. It is part of Fulbe culture.

Meroe is in Northern Sudan. The people are/were neither Horner nor Cushitic.

Kush was overtaken by Axum. As in this map you can see that Meroe (the capital of Kush) is inside Axum

Yes because the word is of Arab origin that was borrowed by both languages

Omarbah:

My point is it was the same people all up and down the Horn of Africa. They all spoke same language family and thus when Axum took over the culture was the same as it were essentially the same type of people. Its like when Somalis took over Ethiopia. The DNA did not change we are the same people. Only thing we spread was Islam. But during that time their was no Islam.

The fact we took it over when it was famous, only means we were that much stronger. Even though a map of linguistics will show you that the people who are in that area look like Nubians, Bejas who resemble Somalis/Ethiopians. Bejas are Cushitc.

LOL. Can we move this convo to your thread? I don't wanna trouble these nice people on their thread.

No, numskull, Meroe was not the capital of Axum. The capital of Axum was also called Axum. Meroe was the old capital of Nubia (also called Kush; and not to be confused with the language family called Cushitic today) located in N. Sudan. The capital was later moved to Napata.
